Good solid pub food, but be careful ordering on the app when its busy. Best to order with a human. Quiz night on Wednesdays was outdoors when we went so check the weather.
An immaculate setting in the midst of a busy side of the town, this fine establishment provides all avenues for entertainment, enjoyable for people from all walks of life. Absolutely loved drinking and gaming here. Also, the fireplace is a special comfort, drinking by the fireside is always a pleasure. Lovely venue frfr
Had lunch with a friend and it was just perfect all round. The Staff were happy and welcoming and the overall atmosphere was pleasant. The meals came out promptly, perfectly cooked, seasoned well and all at a reasonable price. The lunch was ended with a perfect cappuccino made by the friendly male manger on duty. Thank you and look forward to coming back soon.
Great pub meal deals, specials menu and can’t beat the Sunday Roast of the day!nKids meals age limit also include free soft drink and ice cream.nDining areas neat and clean. Staff are a hit and miss, from one extreme to the other.nSmokers area by the car park entrance is a real put off though.
I normally don’t do crappy reviews, and try focus on the Good.nThe Good from this was my meal was refunded and I left hungry.nI ordered a steak medium rare, my first one came out cold and the butter would not even melt. The meat was so tough not juicy, it was hard to cut with a steak knife.nThey made me a second steak, reheated the mash potatoes to super hot! The salad did not survive. The steak was beautiful to look at, but so tough no juice coming out while resting, could not eat it.nThe reason they got 2 stars is the lady refunded the steak
