Beware don’t hire a car here. It’s Overpriced and has lots of hidden charges. The staff were rude and when we picked up the car it was not even ready yet. Car was not so good quality. Checked their website and was quoted for the entire booking 114$ including excess, gst and everything then after we picked up and was billed aside from 550$ I was billed 752$ in total what a ripped off. When we called they said they billed me for excess, but the booking said 114$ in total. This has never happened with me before.

Great service. Friendly team, didn't have a wait for pickup. Only thing I noticed was the lack of information given orally. But that's my fault as I don't like reading fine print.

We hired a bus for an event. The vehicle was unclean on pick up. I picked it up on Friday evening and parked overnight as the event was on Saturday. On Saturday morning the bus would not start due to a flat battery. My wife had to tow start the bus. When I raised this issue with Avis I was told that they were aware of the bus having a flat battery and that it was just too bad that I happened to get a vehicle with a flat battery!  Terrible service, and unreliable vehicle! Will not hire from here again.

Great rental, process was a bit long-winded as I forgot to add my avis number, but they found my avis number and applied the right discount and all the booking details were correct.
