My 2 children have enjoyed their time at Avenues Jindalee. They have both been attending the centre since they were 18months. Whenever my wife and I arrive to pick them up they are very happy. The staff are very attentive and this was especially the case when we first enrolled as this was a very nerve racking time for us. They made us feel comfortable leaving our children. There are plenty of toys and equipment for the children to use. We love that they always have some messy play or art available in both the indoor and outdoor areas. We highly recommend Avenues Jindalee.
My eldest transferred here from another company. The staff and the service at avenues was amazing - he was so much happier and learnt so much, staying at avenues until he started prep. So, when it was time to enrol my daughter I had no hesitation but to choose avenues. She has been there for 2 years now starting in nursery and she absolutely loves it.
Avenues Jindalee has made my time as a first time mum dropping their child into the centre as a very easy transition. The management team and the staff are so caring and gentle with my baby. I love seeing the updates that get emailed out to me through the day so I can see what my baby is up to. Thankyou to the entire team at Jindalee for making my baby and i feel so comforted and we look forward to many more years with you.
I've got 3 kids there and they love it. The staff are all fantastic, very caring and attentive to each child's individual needs. They make time for parents to discuss and address any concerns and they all seemed to learn my name a lot faster than I learned theirs! I have been very happy with this center and so have my children.
My wife and I have been very happy with the level of care at Avenues child care centre. The staff are nurturing, approachable and are excellent with kids. The centre is covered with the kids' art which is great to see.
Poor service: I'm very unhappy. My daughter attended the centre for 10 months and she's still crying when we brings her in. She didn't get enough caring. I had to remind them to offer her water all the time as she was very thirsty when she got home. Baby played with food as I saw when I picked her up early and the record still said 'eat most', telling me that the daily record wasn't reliable. Outdoor play time is very short, by the time I bring her in, time’s up to get inside. To save money on the staff, around 3.30 p.m or 4p.m, all babies, toddlers, kids gather in a room, no written notes are given to say what to do next until parents come to pick them up at 6 p.m. I thought those previous staff should have written a lot for those children in care like Baby A hasn't eaten lunch, baby B needs water or milk around 5 p.m, Baby C just slept only 15 minutes during the day etc. but they didn't Therefore, my baby was exhausted a lot of time, had lots of incidents/injuries due to not proper drinking, eating, sleeping nor to have activities to have fun. She had nightmare and woke up night time crying a lot loudly that finally we decided to withdraw her. Poor management: I'm very upset because my bond and enrolment fee were lost. I got the appointment with the manager to bring my enrolment forms and to pay enrolment fee and bond before the commencement. The assistant manager was on the day. I handled them all to her, including cash payments. She didn't give me the receipt. I stayed there with her so she could read through the forms, until she said all was good. As I got the appointment and they talked through the process to enrol a child in the centre with me and my partner, I thought it was fine. Up till when we withdraw the baby and would like to have bond back, they said they didn't see the money in the system and couldn't refund. An investigation was carried out but it's very disappointed to me because all they did was asking the finance department when my bond is missed processing?, asking if the assistant manager got the money who could answer yes in this situation? and if staff is aware of cash handling? Even though I didn't have their roster, I told them exactly the one I gave the money who they confessed the only one working in the office that day. It's just the assistant manager said she didn't receive any money. so how she got my enrolment package? As an experienced person, she would soon ask me about the enrolment fee at least when she accepted my enrolment package. In the completed direct debit form, I declared to start fortnight fee payment, not bond or enrolment fee as I paid them separately. The investigation needs to look at why receipts are not given out at that time. Why she didn't ask me for enrolment fee and bond? Why she didn't leave any notes about following up my enrolment forms to collect payments? if I haven't paid when submitted forms etc. Oddly enough, in a centre like this they don't even have any transaction paper in the office so parents can note down the date and amount of money they paid either in cash or card payment. Clearly I gave money as agreed upon face to face talk, at the centre with the enrolment package, to the staff in charge. What's the role of the manager in this case? She's the one we talked to. She talked about the vacancy, the policy, the amount of enrolment fee and bond and to be paid in advance. She's the one who say yes to cash payment with exact amount, in the office to the person in charge, and I told her the dates i would come with the forms. Not giving back the bond is very disrespected behaviour I've ever seen and certainly we don't want our kids growing up in the caring of this kind of centre.
My son finishes kindy next week and im so sad he will be leaving the centre. The staff are soo friendly, always have a smile on their faces and you can tell they love their jobs. A fantastic centre with caring staff and wonderful Manager and Assistant Manager
Wonderful staff, great atmosphere & happy children. My two children have both attended from the nursery through to Kindy and I have always been extremely happy with the level of care they received.
