My girlfriend and I had a beautiful experience in this place. We just came from the cinema and booked a table here. We were greeted by a lovely lady and escorted us to our table. There were already a big group of family celebrating a birthday. We had our order served quickly and the serving is very generous. While we were enjoying our meal, this nice and very kind lady who approached us and said that she has taken care of our tab! We had a yummy meal free from this angel! Bless her!

Best Indian Restaurant in the area, we went for a dinner on a Tuesday night and it was really busy. After the service and the food it was very evident why it was so busy. Unbelievable flavours the service was outstanding and very attentive staff. Big compliment to the chef/owner 100% we will be back.

Have ordered takeaways numerous times from this Indian restaurant which never disappoint. Decide to dine-in today, all the curries are delicious especially butter chicken, definitely one of the best in Melbourne.

I had a delicious meal here with a friend. The food was fantastic. I would 100% recommend trying the food. The coconut rice went well with Kashmiri lamb.

Delectable Indian food, I would highly recommend their Tandoori Chicken or Chicken Biryani. That is only 2 of many other incredible dishes they have. A very neat space and good service. Avatar is a great indian restaurant for dine-in or take-away! The staff were kind and friendly and the food came quickly. Everything was delicious from drinks to desserts and there is lots of parking spaces on the main road and side streets near the restaurant. Prices were reasonable and overall it was an amazing place!

The 4 of us enjoyed the food very much however, just one small thing, the curry dishes we ordered could have been more heat/hot as in our opinion, they were luke warm but delicious flavours. The service was excellent and the food came out in good time. We will certainly return again!!Food: 4/5

Delicious Indian food with great service and prices. Half the menu was vegetarian. With lots of choices for both. We had samosas and fried onion patties for entree and Himalayan goat with pea rice for mains. The garlic naan bread was superb. Dinner for two with drinks was only $73.

Staff was so friendly with impressive customer service. Food was amazing and super delicious with extra large complimentary desert. Every thing perfect good place to have diner. Hope to try more Nepalese cuisine as well in future.

Good tandoori chicken highly recommend & I ordered chilli baby corn & requested more onions but it come with more mix vegetables like broccoli, flat bean mushroom ect, I like the taste but they name it differently not chilli baby corn.
