I have been going to Avalon Chinese for years now and once again the take away Chinese food we had tonight was excellent Best Chinese take away in Avalon ! Thank you Avalon Chinese well done
The food arrived twenty minutes after promised, Luke warm and lots of gristle inthe Mongolian Lamb, not worth the price of the meal. Very average if not below.
My husband and I spent over $100 on home delivery meal. One of the dishes had a cockroach in it after we had eaten 1/3 of it already. Absolutely appalling and had to throw all the food away. Found out 1 of my friends also had a cockroach in her food from there a few years ago. Absolutely disgusted. I have uploaded pic in photos.
We used to love this restaurant. Not now. Scallops with ginger and shallots. No ginger. No shallot. Frozen scallop probably from China. Special fried rice used to be very good. Not so special now.
What a RIP OFF never order the combination long soup full of crap and they seriously charge you high end for not so great food usually delivered late. Worst of all there is absolutely no loyalty have to buy minimum $30 which mostly adds up to one mediocre meal and a small fried rice and then they hit you for a $3 delivery charge we live less than 3km away .....no so clean atmosphere so I would hesitate to see how the kitchen looks.....never again.
The interior decor is really nice and comfortable, the customer service is great and the salt and pepper white bait was really tasty, crispy and perfectly seasoned. The sweet and sour pork was also really nice and I was surprised by how crispy it was. The sauce was perfectly balanced. My favorite must be the peking duck pancakes were light and the peking duck was amazing. The skin was nice and crispy and the presentation was nice. The flavor was mouth watering. Parking is alright because there is a carpark next to the restaurant. Overall, good.
Had a take away, the noodle dishes were good and the staff was friendly. However, the chinese fried rice tasted a little bland. Also, could have a bigger portion
Honestly pretty good, all the services are great. Everyone was vibing and chilling as normal people. It could get pricy in some areas, but, all I have to say is great work guys!
In the heart of Avalon shops this absolutely delicious Chinese restaurant sits. They serve up a mean sizzling Mongolian lamb and sweet and sour pork dish and the staff are very lovely.
Not allergy, vegetarian or vegan friendly. Specifically and kindly asked for food without any animal product and got some little bits of chicken spread out all over in my meal.
