These guys are great. I may as well have a sign on my head saying I don’t get cars, but they don’t take advantage of that or rip you off at all. Thought I needed a new battery, was expecting $200 bill, but they just charged my car overnight and it cost $22 instead, good as new. They are so friendly and explain everything well. Really trust them and highly recommend.
I took down my old Ford Laser for a service and tune up, the guys in there were very friendly and helpful even offering me a loan car so I could pick up my shopping. My car now runs as good as it ever has and I'm confident it will run for another 20 years! The pricing was very fair and Nigel was great at explaining everything to me and making me feel like I wasn't being ripped off. The young Scottish mechanic wasn't bad to look at either. I will be back again
These guys are the best, honest and reliable. I been their costumer for 3 years now and I am very satisfied from their work and costumers service. They always been looking after my car and me I never had any issue with my car Or with any of the job done, before any work they call to confirm any work that needs to be done and they give a quote on it, but it is not all they also provide all the paper work suggesting what work should be done next so u are prepared for that. They can also do car’s key copy i had a few done with them with security code that was the cheapest solution that I could find around the northern beaches. I Highly recommended Daniel and his team.

Fantastic business. The manager Nigel is absolutely amazing, can't stress enough how much of an awesome job he performed. Took my Patrol in for a service it's running like a new car. Great prices as well.
Without a doubt I would have to recommend Auto Lab and in particular that dashing young mechanic Nigel. I've dealt with Nigel over a number of years and he's always provided great service and chocolate. I'm pretty sure my cars have picked up some of Nigel's attitude but that has only made them run better - so it's all good. Seriously though - a great place if you care about your wheels!
I’ve had my Prius C services and Registration Check done here for the last 3 years - all work quoted before the work was done and very competitive prices. Never less than careful attention and assistance - and none of the pressure I’ve had at car dealer workshops.
The clutch went on our 2009 Subaru and fortunately it was outside Autolab on Pittwater Road on a Sunday. We pushed the car there and I went down first thing the next day. They were very accomodating and fit us in. I told them that I was hoping to have the car fixed by Wednesday as we were going away camping. They were very busy the week before Easter and I was told that it could be done by Thursday but they would do their best to have it fixed sooner. Called me Wednesday morning to let me know it was all fixed. Professional and speedy - much appreciated
Quote $41 for a pink slip, however if your car is found to be unfit according to their inspection you must have everything fixed that they recommend, which they brought up to a quote of $730. Upon calling two other mechanics I quickly found a quote of just $300 to have what they recommended I needed fixed. Thus, I was forced to pay their $41 'inspection fee' with nothing to show for it, but an emptier bank account. I left feeling humiliated and angry when one mechanic simply laughed in my face. But I refuse to be mocked just because I'm a woman.
