We stopped by the Reptile park on the way back to Sydney from Hunter Valley and boy were happy we did the the stop by! Kids simply loved to see so many reptiles, Snakes, Alligator, Turtles, Lizards and many more. Also, the shows were entertaining and informative. Tips: - Reach early like by 10am. There are regular shows every 30 min and they are fun and educational as the host explains you everything in detail. - For photos, would suggest to take package where you can take photos with all four, Python, Alligator, Koala and Owl. Since they allow all family members to be in photo it turns out to be cheaper and fun.
It's a good place to see and know about Australian native animals. All the tasks are great giving his info about the animals. From planning your day perspective you can visit in the morning and go with each talk or other option to visit in the afternoon as all the talks repeat in the second half. You can finish everything in half a day. Better to carry food as the cafe gets busy during weekend lunch hours. There is wheelchair access everywhere and they had maintained the toilets well. Alligator and crocodile talks were the best for me. The play area for kids is good too.
Absolutely brilliant day out. It's a good thing to contribute to because they also do important conservation work, I loved seeing the turtle conservation ark. The talks are really informative especially the one with the snakes. Lizzie the wombat was adorable and the keepers all do such an excellent job keeping the animals happy and constantly topping up the koalas trees/leaves. You came easily spend 3 hours looking round here.
This is one of the great escape spots located just around an hour drive from Sydney. The Kangaroos here are lovely and kids can have fun time feeding them. The alligators here amazing and the number of them that are maintained well in a water body with in park is amazing to watch. The tortoise that we saw was over 100 years and looks so healthy and stunning. There are variety of birds and reptiles here. A place that kids would love and a must visit spot indeed

It was an amazing day with the Dinosaur Show which my little one enjoyed so much. So much for the kids to do. You get a card and have to find all the Dinosaurs throughout the park. They have a sand pit if you want to dig for fossils. There is a kids park which has alot of different activities. The only down fall was the 30 minute wait for your food once ordered and not a wide variety to choose from. Overall it was a great day and experience.
A really good place to take the whole family for a day out. Roughly an hour outside of Sydney it’s location is more fitting for the animals, rather than Taronga in Sydney itself. Good size park that’s easily manoeuvrable with plenty of seating for rest stops. Great range of native animals etc and semi wild kangaroos that reign free and are friendly enough to come right up to you. Prices are reasonable and the staff are friendly and very knowledgeable. The only let down for me was the long wait at the on site cafe. Next time I’ll pack a picnic lunch
Enjoyed a wonderful family day out. The animal exhibits and dinosaurs were great. Also Lots of places to sit and enjoy lunch. A few more drink options would be good. Like drink machines especially when it’s hot. Lining up at the canteen wasn’t fun. Otherwise loved it !
Loveeee it !!! It was a beautiful experience especially for my children who were be very excited by seeing the reptiles and interacting with dinosaurs.. I've really enjoyed the journey and the natural views. It was very relaxing..I will highly recommend it for families
Please visit this zoo if you are nearby or even if you are around an hour or so away. The zoo is cozy and not so crowded with many Australian local animal highlights like crocs, kangaroos, koalas , reptiles, and birds. Many experiences are included with the entrance ticket price. They have other additional experiences that can guarantee a fun family out.Highly recommend it as it is an extremely visitor and kid friendly park. They do have a limited menu cafe, if you are a picky eater it is better to get your own meal to have a nice picnic.
