seriously disappointing to see these prices. second hand is supposed to support poorer demographics, recycle clothing, reduce waste and support a good cause. With these prices people would get cheaper in kmart - which is not helping the environment or the ethos of Red Cross. I dont what happened in these last couple years but I beg you to rethink your prices.
Good cheap and used items that are great for you
Being a visitor to darwin we were excited to visit the op shops of darwin. Every shop we visited vinnies salvos were great friendly accommodating, until we visited red cross at malak. Were do i start your products are to expensive for a charity shop these goods are donated yet you want top dollar. Upon asking do you do pensioner discount we were met with a very rude manager who stated we dont dondiscounts and no op shop does discounts . We stated to her that yes they do snd she stepped forward aggressively and said WHO we said vinnes salvos do on Thursdays she said well mockingly well everything is cheap enough anyway . Sadly we wont be visiting you store again as we visit darwin on a regular basis also i would like to speak for a young gentleman that was also in your store at the sametime he wanted to purchase a Dorothy the dinosaur that was bagged up he didnt want the whole bag and asked if he could just purchase the dinosaur and was told the same thing definitely not. Why couldnt they just have taken the dinosaur out and replace it with something else no brainer i thought but she had to make a big deal out of it. Very rude woman and she represents you company. I fell sorry for anyone visiting who is struggling and needs some bargins and runs in to this woman and made to feel like that .
Over priced things for a op shop they wanted $15 for 5 used match box cars and $49 for a used quilt I thought op shops were there to help people with less money this is disgusting prices and a rip off to the community.
Extremely expensive. I would shop around and go elsewhere. You can get similar items half the price at Vinnie's.
