Only good for kids, the trip is short and bumpy and you end up at a cafe, not much else to see really, you are paying to keep the little cane train running.Visited onWeekdayWait timeUp to 10 minReservation recommendedNo
Very friendly volunteers! Great experience for kids.
Have been on the train a few times now and it's a really nice experience for kids and big kids alike. Make sure to hop off on the first leg to visit the cafe and gardens.
Awesome experience. Credits to all volunteers working there. Such a lovely people. Kids enjoyed the train ride.
Love this place. The kids love it, it's only 10mins ride and you get off at the cafe with a huge garden with areas to let the kids run and explore and also a cafe to eat and enjoy. Then you can get back on the train and head back to the car. Don't forget a hat, sunscreen and water!
Okay for kids probably not enough to look at in the range of trains a lot of their trains they are doing up are locked away or piled up out the back where you can't see it. The train ride is good the train and carriages could do with a touch up. But the coffee shop at the other station is really great so all a board. If this review help please like
Thoroughly enjoyed the steam train ride, the guys there were all so friendly and helpful. They even have toilets there, plenty of car parks. You can get off after 5 or 10 minutes and enjoy the Woodford Gardens, they serve hot and cold drinks. Meals,it's lovely there, staff are all nice. Will be going back to enjoy another steam train ride and a meal at Woodford gardens.
Great little railway. They need alot more help from the community though.
Disappointing BUT I will be back without Mum so I can get around for a decent look and maybe a ride more interested in the engineering side of things though. The staff are great & I would like to see expansion of the facility as it has potential to be a bigger asset to the Woodford area.
Was a great way to spend the morning with our 5 year old. He loved the train and the scones at the cafe in the gardens were delicious!
