My husband gifted me a massage treatment and I wish he had gifted me a longer treatment day! My experience from start to finish was overall a positive one - the receptionist was friendly and lovely, as was my student therapist. I had visited other beauty schools for reduced cost treatments and this visit was by far more pleasant. It felt like a day spa in that it was all professional, and facilities were clean. My therapist asked a few questions in the beginning and after the treatment and discussed some further treatment return visits that might benefit me but was understanding when I mentioned I couldn't commit because I don't have a lot of time I can take being away from my infant. Its a big drawcard to return knowing that in the short time of your treatment, your therapist is in tune with your needs and provides a recommendation, without being overly sales-y - this has been a put-off for me in the past. She also didn't talk and ask questions through the treatment; again a turn off visiting other colleges. My only suggestion is for therapists to be mindful of the temperature of their hands - I did get a shock to start my massage but it was later forgotten. I am leaving hints for my husband to gift me with the Mother's Day package this year!!
Used very hot wax on eyebrows resulted in burns to both and they have not bothered to call me or email me despite my 5 phone messages, 1 email and even a trip back there only to find they dont open Fridays. This is a training academy and have always enjoyed my massages but dont let them wax anything as the wax they used on my eyebrows was too hot and I sustained very bad burns underneath both eyebrows. All I wanted was to discuss with a supervisor to turn the wax down but since they never tried to contact me, best to let the public know to be careful of inexperienced people.
I love my “me” time sessions at the AABT. The students are very professional, polite and friendly. My colleague recommended them as she attends sessions at another location. I highly recommend being pampered with AABT
This place is absolutely amazing. The girls are lovely, professional and keen to please. My skin is looking the best it ever has. The salon offers up to date treatments and I always look forward to my appointments.
Best experience, lovely trainers, very interesting course and delivered in a variety of achievable opportunities. The academy provide a lot of support to allow you to get the most out of your studies!
Absolutely disgusting ownership and management if you are a student! Of course they are putting a nice front for the customers but if you want to study there it's hel on Earth!! The nice photos are nothing but misleading advertising!!! In winter they force you to eat on a dirty tiny open balcony that is freezing while the teacher of course eats inside!! Before they take your money they give you the grand tour of the place which has a nice big kitchen but that is not to be used the excuse being that crumbs attracts cockroaches!!! They also make you sign a paper in which you have to agree to conserve this and that for the environment!! What they fail to tell you is that this will translate into ZERO HEAT in the classroom in winter !!! The chairs are ice cold and even though we all added extra clothing under the uniform we were in absolute pain from cold! It was disgraceful!!! None of us girls were happy either that at the end of each day they make you scrub the place from top to bottom including the full mirrored elevator!!! Ohh I forgot, the crappiest uniform they give you, it's NOT included in the atrocious fee you pay for this course! You pay separately of course and it's $130 for something that is the most horrendous quality ever not to mention some of us girls got pants that were different shade than the top !!! Mismatched $10 uniform made in China! Stay away from them!! If you are looking for a beauty course go somewhere else!!! These people are all talk and advertising!!
Bought the voucher from Scoopon and they never have availablity to book me in. The vendor also lied to Scoopon team saying that they do have the available spot. BTW, the merchant claimed that they tried to call me to solve the problem but I do not get any incoming calls from them. If I get a chance, I don't even want to rate 1 star. Instead, I would like to give zero star!
