Outstanding Service by New Staff! nnI truly admire the new team members at this Australia Post PADSTOW. they consistently go above and beyond to help customers. yesterday, I saw a staff member named Golu kindly assisting an elderly lady by carrying her heavy parcels all the way to her car. It was such a thoughtful gesture and a great example of genuine customer care. Kudos to the team for fostering such a helpful and compassionate environment!
I visited today to collect a package and had a very poor experience with one staff members. She was rude and dismissive, repeatedly insisting my package was not there and had not yet been delivered, even after I showed clear tracking information with the time of when it had been delivered to the post office and confirmation info stating otherwise. She continued to argue the point rather than actually assisting.nnOnce another staff member stepped in, my package was immediately located without any issue. I’ve never had a problem at this location before — the young men who usually work there when i go to this location are always polite and helpful. Unfortunately, this interaction was frustrating, confusing, and left a very negative impression. Have also just read previous reviews stating the same thing i have experienced with this lady, not impressed.
I wish I could give these people -5 stars, please do not come to this post office if you don’t have too! I have never met a woman so rude and miserable with her life to treat people the way she does. People shouldn’t have to go through what she puts them through for such simple requestsnMy mum recently went to pick up a package on my behalf which was transferred into her name prior , she was extremely disrespectful and basically told her “you can tell your daughter to come here at 7:30 and bash on the door to come pick it up if she can’t make it before we close because I’m not giving it to you”. Who does that?!?nSomething needs to be done about this woman, she needs to take her pathetic attitude that she calls customer service somewhere else. No one should feel the way she makes people feel leaving a post office!!
I was home when an expected parcel wasn’t delivered. I saw it drive by. I go to the post office, the lady on reception couldn’t have cared less. I explained my situation nicely and was told to “make a complaint”. When I asked how to do that she replied “I don’t know, that’s up to you”. I suspect that the delivery driver simply didn’t feel like getting out of their bike.nI left the post office after the zero care factor to make a complaint online. Only to realise that you actually can’t unless you provide a kidney.nYou can however, make a ‘compliment’ as an option.nWhere is the decent front of house customer service ?nIf you want a job with zero accountability, make an application at Auspost.
The 2 women that work there are so rudennThis post office also signs your goods declarations for you, and don’t have clear sleeves for international customs forms, they just use tape…. Literally 0 effort. A lot of aus post employees are incompetent, but few are as rude as thesennOn the plus side the 2 young dudes that started working there seem much better but not enough of a positive to give more than 1 star
