I am posting negative review first time I am 70! I went to this post office for passport renewal. I had correct form mailed to me by passport department, already filled, photos, current passport - but I had to leave and look for another Post office... There were no other customers, lady at the counter was rude, telling me I need appointment that's not Australia Post policy my form is too small ? I need more pages not true, etc,. All with total disregard and hostile attitude.... why ? I don't know her, and I am very polite person. Another lady behind the counter watched - not busy also. I didn't get the service, I asked: "why do you have this rude attitude?" and I left. Obviously she wasn't going to service my application... if she didn't know how, she could politely say that. It was a shocking experience!
I have never written a bad review in my life, so the fact that i am writing this shows how shocked i am at the customer service at this post office. Seems like many other people have also had problems with short black bob lady. 1 while i was waiting in line, she raised her voice at a poor old foreign man who needed help posting a letter, refusing to help him and repeating "we are not multilingual" even though she seemed to have an accent herself and told him to get out of the line, the poor man was so confused and just walked out without posting his letter. It would of taken her 2 minutes to help him post it. 2 I had to return 3 times because each time she found something wrong with my passport renewal. she told me mixed info and that i needed an appointment which is not true, and in general really stuffed me around. It seems quite clear that she probably just didn't want to do her job and made my life significantly more difficult and stressful. I ended up going to Sutherland post office and they were great and it was lodged within 10 minutes. My main issue with this whole situation is how RUDE and demeaning she was! I understand people sometimes can be going through hardships and personal issues, so i am always polite and try not to make a fuss but there is absolutely no excuse for her behaviour. Honestly in disbelief she still has a job, people get fired for way way way less.
My daughter 4 turned up to get her passport photos this morning perfectly happy and smiling. She was treated so woefully by the male behind the counter who cruelly barked confusing orders at her before finally refusing to take anymore photos we had been trying for 2/3 minutes. My daughter left in tears. I’ve no idea how people are allowed to be so unkind and still keep a job. We were customer number 2 for the day, there is absolutely no excuse for it.
I don’t think I’ve ever come across such a rude, unhelpful, unfriendly cohort of workers in my life. I thought my first instance with a lady who worked there was a one off, but I was wrong. A different staff member this morning just as lacking in any form of manners, social awareness of skills in customer service. Avoid this post office when possible.
Always a line and always understaffed. Every visit is a long wait in line. No urgency from staff. Also be aware, although they are set up for passport photos, they will send you to Westfield Miranda to have your pics taken. Apparently, this post office does not have lighting for passport photos. On a good note, I got my pictures taken for a lot cheaper of price at Digi direct
Customer service agent behind the counter could not find my package after I gave my details. I hopped back in the long line hoping to get another customer service agent, finally another worker found it outback. First service agent was rude and lazy and couldn't even tell me where the package was in the system . 30 minutes to pick up one package.
I would suggest all staffs should attend customer service training. This morning i went to Post Office to post something. The lady in the counter was ignored us, no response at all. She's not a dumb person, just ignored and showing her poopy face. Until the male staff came out from office and served us. As a customer, i believe that everyone deserves to be treated with respect and courtesy.
Very rude staff, showed no intention to help but abused her power to treat customers with bad attitude. Strongly urge the manager to give some basic training to the employees or give the roles to people who actually know customer service.
The staff here is so rude, especially the lady with short, black hair. We walked in for our passport application and was refused saying you have to book in an appointment or go to another post office. Our daughter’s passport was applied for without an appointment. There’s was no one else there, it was 8.55AM but guess she didn’t want to work. Few days later when we went in with appointment booked, she was equally rude. I saw her almost yelling at a child for taking pictures in the shop he wasn’t taking pictures, but doing some measurements on his phone. And what does it even matter if a child takes photos of some toys in Post Shop! She was also shrugging at another customer who showed up 5-10 mins early. I can’t understand what type of customer service this is! And I have read the reviews - they are all about the same staff. Is the centre manager not reading these or doesn’t care about customer feedback????
Extremely poor customer service. Left work early so that I could verify my identity, and was told by the manager that they couldn't do it because they were too close to closing time, despite there still being 45 minutes left before they closed. Went to Cronulla the next day, and the job took 10 minutes. My partner went back to Miranda the following week for the same thing, and was turned away in the middle of the day because they were "too busy", despite being the only person in the store. Besides, it shouldn't matter how busy they are. If identity verification is a service that they offer, then they should always be able to provide that service. Aus post needs to pick up on this and get these staff replaced.
