NO GO ZONE. I do not have option to give a red star with poor rating, this place will have 5 red stars. I had been to this place to submit passport application for a family of 4, and the very first comment from a woman in the Counter was, ridiculous that they have come for passport application at this time. I am not sure if this is the kinda people the Australia Post employ.
Both of the staff serving at the counter are extremely rude. Unfortunately still have that nasty old school public service mentality. Not a good experience.
The two ladies in this post office are very efficient and provide the best customer service. A small post office but runs smoothly.
Possibly the worst post office in Melbourne.. The workers have no desire to be helpful or even complete tasks that literally every other post office in the country do. If you ever feel like being spoken to really poorly and treated to match for some reason.. Just visit here. Not the first time its been bad and definitely not the only time considering the other reviews.
I was here for the passport application of my 4 month. The first time I visited, I had an appointment booked in for submitting the application. There was only one staff at the counter and she was extremely frustrated that I was there for a passport application submission even though I had an appointment booked in. She asked me if I could come back later... because her boss was in a meeting with his boss. I had empathy for this lady’s situation and I was happy to wait and let her attend customers if they came by. Anyways I found that rude she was acting agitated all way long like I was making her life very hard. Eventually her boss came to check the application. There was a minor error in the way the form was printed and I was sent back to reprint the page. So I went and came back in a while to get it done. This time there was another lady staff at the counter. While she appeared friendly in the first instance, she started preaching me common sense because the info on the guarantor signed photo had info copied word for word from the application form. This definitely wasn’t an issue.. as all the right thing had been done. However she was advising me since the borders are closed I’m not going to need a passport urgently for my baby and asked me return back to get the guarantor signature again from the friend who lives 50 KMs away. I have all my family overseas including senior citizen parents and even if the borders are closed, I had every reason to get the passports ready in time, as you never know when you will have to travel for unforeseen circumstances. She came out condescending. This is my longest negative review in Google, and I have to say this LPO has old school arrogant staff who are judgemental on anyone who is coloured. The worst service ever I have got. Seriously you guys aren’t supposed to be in the front desk servicing customers, if you firstly don’t have common sense and customer friendly attitude. I would give this LPO zero rating if I could. I went to Macleod with the same application and guarantor signed photo and everything was sorted with no drama and no wasting time. The Macleod service had a good rating too and they stand for it.
Unhelpful, poor service. Had a parcel to post with prepaid delivery. I had the postage label on my phone but had no way of printing it myself. We are in a lockdown and accessing a printer is difficult. Instead of printing the Australia Post label on my behalf they refused and offered no alternative for sending my parcel that I had already paid postage for. It's not that they couldn't print it, it's that they wouldn't. I'm actually really baffled that they would not help me complete a service that I had already paid for, it makes no sense.
Absolutely disgusting service. Arrived to the post office 15 minutes before close but were having trouble finding a box to fit our packages. At literally 5pm on the dot, we were up at the counter ready to pay fornour package when the woman told us we needed to fill out a form for international contact details, and stating what the package contained therefore we had to leave and come back tomorrow because we were just "So late". After a couple of minutes of lecturing us about being "So late" it was 5.02, at which point we would have had the form filled out if she had let us, but we were walked out. Genuinely shocked at how horrible the service is at this post office. Reading these reviews we are clearly not the first people to deal with Rosanna post offices shocking staff attitudes.
Worst post office, avoid at all costs. Parcels that get sent from here r being stolen by someone working for AUS post. My parcel got scanned into this shop but never got scanned again after it “apparently” got picked up. My advise to everyone, keep driving and find another AUS post shop to post from.
Staff are SOOOOO RUDE.... If it is such a chore to serve customers, then this is the wrong business for the staff to be working in. I was told at 4:50pm after rushing to get there after work by 5pm that I was too late for the express post box that now gets cleared at 5pm. I said it is 10 minutes to 5pm, was then told I had to purchase another satchel for it to go at 5pm when it was already in an express post satchel that I had reused to save the planet but was happy to pay for the express service, then rudely told I should have turned the bag inside out to re-use it, stood there flabbergasted while paying and told it wouldn't go until tomorrow. Walked past the express box out the front of the store on the street and the collection time still reads cleared at 6pm. Was then told that their mail man had already been and collected their mail, when in fact he was pulling in when I pulled out of the car park. I also watched another customer rudely served next to me while I was being served. Take a stand customers and use other post office services in the area who have great reviews. I note I am not the first person that has received poor/rude service. Macleod post office is open until 5:30pm and Banyule post office in Greville Road is open until 6pm and both have fabulous reviews, which I have just checked. Taking my business where it is welcomed.
I felt as though I had just had an interaction with a group of teenagers, not middle-aged women. Worst customer service EVER. If you're in the mood for some negative attitude, unprovoked lectures, and eye-rolling, try picking up a parcel! For your own sanity, take the trip to visit another store or try to organise a re-delivery.
