There seems to be a common complaint with this Post Office. Is not the worse encounter, but some staff at this office do need re training on understanding their product and customer relations. They have a sign that reads "rude customers are not tolerated and will be asked to leave", I think they should follow their own advise.
Customer service is great here. Probably one of the most friendly staff I've come across at an AusPost. The 9-5pm Monday to Friday needs to change though, it doesn't suit most peoples lifestyle that work a job. At least open on a Saturday or extend it to 6pm close during the week so that people who work 9-5 can use the services.
I got threaten by the staff serving me saying that HE is not going to give me my parcel because it has my daughter's name on it and not minenever had a problem with it before and he was very rude about it. He could have asked if I had any form of ID to prove the parcel is mine, but he didn't. "I am confused??? Didn't he just scanned the barcode from the email that was sent from Post Office into MY email as a collection reminder, which has the same Article ID that was on the parcel.. anyway, I digress..." So It wasn't until I pulled out my medicare card that he relented, but than went on and blamed my 'daughter', saying she shouldn't be buying things????? she didn't, it was a present her aunt bought... class act, blame it on the customer...I can see why you have a 2.5 star rating. Will do a formal complain and I will escalate this to the Ombudsman if I need to.
Not impressed, I dread when post items are redirected here. If you happen to miss your parcel delivery because you were at work, then good luck picking it up from this LPO because they are only open 9-5 Monday-Friday....go figure.
I would give 0 star if I could. Firstly, I totally get people have bad days etc, but please just show the basic etiquette as a human being? I walked in this post office to post something to NSW. When I told the grumpy lady whose workstation was facing the entrance that I have a QR code to scan, she just chose not to hear a word of what I had just said but to measure my parcel straightaway and state that there is no guarantee of next day delivery. I said I have a business account again and showed her my QR code, she just abruptly intervened and said I am asking you yes or no. Where on earth do you treat another person like that? I am not your child per se? Then she did not scan anything I provided but to quote me $59 for a parcel under 1kg, which other staff of Auspost had told me that any parcel under 1kg should be based on weight without taking into consideration of measurements. Then I questioned that she hadn’t scan my QR code, she literally rolled her eyes and sighed, then told me you need to tell me at the beginning. Excuse me? I am sure you have cameras in the shop and you can rewind the video to check if I was holding my bloody phone with a QR code the entire time? I bloody could skip my gym today because of all the phone lifting. She even refused to provide her name when I mentioned I would need to make a complaint. Hmm, why? You are scared of giving out your name? Then I changed to another post office, for the same parcel, guess how much I was charged? $16.25. Good job lady, you interpreted capitalism well.
As a full-time worker, it's frustrating that the store isn't open on weekends. It makes it nearly impossible for me to pick up packages delivered during the week. The limited operating hours render their services useless to many people.
A very rude lady there behind the counter. She supposed to be there to listen and understand the customer’s need. Unfortunately it’s vice versa she only has couple phrases to throw. Very unprofessional and + bad attitude + 0 customers service skill.
Had multiple issues submitting my daughters passport documents. The staff weren’t very friendly and I felt awkward every time I returned. On the website it mentions to come instore and one of our friendly staff will be able to help but only one of the staff members were helpful but I forget his name…apologies. I ended up taking my documents to Epping and they submitted my passport and it was returned within a couple of weeks.
I went for getting few documents certified today, they were super helpful and quick. Really happy with the service. Thank you.
Took passport photos a while back for my child here. Came back with my documents ready to lodge an application, the lady said the photo isn’t acceptable because she has a hair clip on. Even had the audacity to tell me that the photo surely wasn’t taken at their office? How about owning your mistake and train your staff to do a better job. I remember the exact spot she was asked to stand for the photo. She even had to stand on a very unstable stool, which a 2 year old could have easily fallen off and injured herself if I wasn’t there to hold her. Such unprofessional staff.
