I found the service disappointing. I realised that I had left the post office without taking back with me a receipt for the delivery of a package interstate Australia, which I needed to submit to the Accounts at my workplace. I first telephoned Australia Post to see if they could help – The customer service reps I spoke to were very helpful and did their best to help me over the phone- however they advised me to attend the office to obtain a receipt. So I returned to the post office in less than an hour from the first visit to see if they could help me with providing me a receipt. The elderly man and a young woman at the counter were dismissive in their responses – saying they ‘can’t see it in their system” and basically that there was “nothing they could do about it”. The man asked when did I attend the post office and I told him it was an hour ago. I then said I will have a look at the area where I had filled up the parcel details and to my luck I found the receipt there. There is a lack of initiative on the part of the two attending the post office – to be helpful. The attitude is wanting and could be improved.
Old man with glasses and old lady curly white hair with black glasses who work today 09/02/‘23 are usually very rude to their customers but today was the last straw! The old woman was very chatty to caucasian lady before me and chatted about breeding dogs for ever while neglecting the queue. When it’s my turn, she changed her attitude because she is racist and talking to me with a very condescending tone despite the fact that she is incapable of doing her job properly and failed to do a simple task : scanning barcode on my parcel. Took her 10 tries and 20 mins of my life I would never get back! Definitely direct your parcels and whatever you need to another post office for better service.
About as good as a post office can get. Fast service, good help, it's what you want in a post shop, and stocks a larger range of stationary than most.
Terrible. There was a line and only one staff member at the counter. When it was my turn to be served two of the ladies walked away?! Waited a full two mins to be served and there was a short line behind me. Ir was the first time I've used that post office and the last.
Like others, feel really bad attitude of severs, expect the young lady with red hair. One lady shouted at me and make me reque , even she is not clearly aware of right circumstance.
NEARLY RIPPING OFF a 10 year old. Monday, 10-Aug-2020. A ten 10 year old girl walked into to this venue. She was to mail her 1st letter to her new pen pal friend in Canada. Her letter is just a page with some cut stickers in a usual business envelope. She went to the counter with few coins in her hand saying that she needs to mail a letter to Canada. A fat lady in dirty long hair responded that it is going to $17.99 and will take 3-6 months to arrive. Her mother asked for a regular rate as we don't need an express. The post lady kept saying that same rate as many flight cancellations due to covid. The girl and her mother decided not to. Went to Joondalup post nearby their house. It took the little girl only $3.20 to mail to Canada. DISHONEST! SHAMEFUL!! SECOND experience update - 1 May 2023. Went to drop off postage paid envelope and 2 science kit boxes to return to School of Isolated and Distance Learning SIDE, Leedervile in *Subiaco to Leedervile is closer than Joondalup to Leedervile* The mother walked to Subiaco Post from her office and back that took her near 25 minutes carrying 2 boxes in a bag plus 1 envelope. Arrived there, the post ladies -- not looking into the envelope or the boxes with bar codes stamped boldly on all -- straight asking "Are you going to pay for the postages?" No, they are all postage paid. I did do the exact same at Joondalup Post -- they accepted the boxes with no drama and said "we'll take care the rest". Then the post lady said, "you need this filled in mailing form so they know whom to charge to". I left giving them side eyes. SECOND TERRIBLE experience and service proved my conclusion. DISHONEST, CRAZE for MONEY with NO SERVICE, DISHONEST, RIPPING OFF bwhahahaha but TWICE failed.
Superb service this morning at Australia Post Subiaco. The young lady who looked after me searched the stock for a suitable jigsaw puzzle for me to send to boys in Sydney. Successful search and then assistance to parcel up and place in the post. Very impressive. Courteous and friendly service much appreciated.
Unable to process mail correctly. if your mail or parcel ends up here contact Australia Post directly and file a dispute until your item is re-delivered or sent to another Australia Post location.
Australia post - Subiaco Post Shop Located at 172 Rokeby Rd, Subiaco are not a pleasant place to be. Poor quality of customer service and looks like the manager and/or owner doesn't care about improving the quality of service. You have to make a queu and when you approach staff they are always in a rush and they treat people without respect. I AM STRONGLY RECOMMEND TO GO TO ARMONY NEWSAGENCY/SUBIACO EAST LICENCED POST OFFICE. LOCATED AT 217 HAY STREET, SUBIACO,WA, AUSTRALIA 6008. THERE IS PLENTY OF CAR PARKING AT THE FRONT AND YOU DON'T NEED TO MAKE A QUEUE, AND THE MOST IMPORTANT THINK NIGEL THE BOSS AND HIS TEAM FOCUS IN GOOD QUALITY OF CUSTOMER SERVICE, AND THEY ARE VERY POLITE AND RESPECTFUL.
I feel the need to also share with others the experience of attending this place and I concur that it is preferable to avoid this place
