I went in to get a passport photo and they rejected me as my face was “too oily, asymmetrical and my hair was not neat so it was messing with the shadowing”. Despite the effort i went to to look nice, the manager was so quick to body shame me & blame the way i looked in front of the passing customers, when she could have attempted to adjust camera angles or lighting more effectively. i left quite upset and embarrassed.
Along with most establishments in Katherine, both the Retail shop and DC are understaffed. Despite this hardship for the employees, it is always service with a smile. The Retail manager is always darting around organising one thing or another to keep the shop looking amazing. Keep up the good work and great community service.
I had a parcel to collect care of Katherine PO. I was given a QR code to show. They did not know how yo read the QR code. Did a manual search 3 times before my parcel was found. The process should be a lot smoother. Maybe they are understaffed as there was a 'job vacancy' notice on the wall
I attended the PO today to lodge paperwork. The service I received was terrible and I left quite upset. The woman was almost yelling at me, spealing down to me, and her body language suggested she was angry. Goodness help anyone who has to interact with miss bob cut lady who presumably doesn't wear a name-tag so that when she treats people badly she isn't easily identifiable.
Went to collect parcel, there was 2 lines and I was in one but evidently I wasn't lined up, I was ignored until I asked why I wasn't being served. Customer service operators could have said something but chose not to. There is no system here. I've never experienced such bad service from Australia Post outlet.
Redirected mail passport was sent back to the passport office even though the mail redirection was confirmed correct with Australia Post. I was informed that they delivered a pick up slip us however we received no such communication.
Quite possibly the best post office in Australia. Customer service is second to none. The friendly team have gone out of their way to accommodate my requests numerous times.
Pathetic customer service. Crossed all the T's and I'ms and still had zero help. Would deal with Nighthawk every time now. Never Australia Post Katherine
Understaffed. Can expect to wait 20 minutes just to sign for a parcel. Unacceptable. Hire more workers Australia Post.
