Nice little post shop near us. Great people at the shop. Not sure why this time my tiny online order was requested to be collected from this shop where big deliveries from the same supplier was left outside the house. I don’t mind going to this post shop.
I am very disappointed with the service. I visited to get passport-size photos taken for my baby, however I was told that photos cannot be done for children under 3 years of age. This was quite frustrating, as publicly available information including Google states that Australia Post does provide passport photos for infants as well.nnI expected clear and accurate information, especially for something as important as passport documentation. Unfortunately, this experience has left us unhappy with the service provided.
My family is getting to a point where we are just about ready to lodge a formal complaint with head office regarding this location.nnWe are fed up. Most of our parcels through auspost do not get delivered to our address, EVERY other courier and delivery service DOES. So I don’t understand why you guys don’t? We pay for a service and do half the work ourselves.nnNow, this would be less of an issue if we were actually given notice that our parcels are at the post office. It would also be less of an issue if when we went to collect our parcels they actually gave us ALL of them.nnWe constantly have to tell them that the box they handed to us says 1/2, or notify them that they need to look again because there is actually another on that should have arrived.nnWe’ve also had a few parcels either be given to some random person instead seriously why aren’t you getting signatures or verifying identity? Every other auspost I go to does?? or they get “lost” between the Cranbourne post office and you guys - never to be seen again.nnIt has gotten to the point that we sometimes ship things to a family members house to AVOID dealing with this post office.nnYou need to sort it out. Do your job properly, make sure all the staff is actually doing the jobs they’re meant to and checking for things correctly.nnI’ve seen some of the replies provided by you guys on these reviews and I will tell you right now, I am not the one to try and explain away your poor work quality to and make it as if there is no problem.nnFix your post office issues. Its abhorrent.nnUPDATE:nnOne of my family members went to retrieve a parcel yesterday 3/12/25 that wasn’t given to us with our other mail the day before…nnNot only are their delivery vans neglecting to park in their designated parking bay, they’re actually parking ON the footpath AND when taking parcels out they would let the parcels whack into the nearby cars…nnSeriously. It’s unacceptable behaviour for a Government owned service. I’m genuinely surprised at the behaviour and attitudes that are allowed within Australia Post.
They have absolutely no idea what they're doing! I went yesterday to take my passport photo, but a woman there told me they don't take passport photos at LPDO post offices. I said they don't mention this on the AU post website. She said no, no, it's not like that, and sent me away. I went to the Narre Warren LPDO post office right after, and the people there handled my business in a friendly manner... In short, don't lie to people...
Absolutely unacceptable! The staff had no clue what they were doing. They didn’t even know the correct passport photo size and kept guessing the whole time. I wasted my time and money for nothing — later I got an email from the Passport Office saying my photo was rejected! I refused to go back for a “free retake” because I completely lost trust in them. I had to pay again somewhere else just to fix their mistake. Extremely unprofessional and frustrating experience!
