Convenient local post and lotto store. Staff are fine and offer variety. Great they are open on Saturday and will generally be busy so lines can take time depending on your need. It would be great if they had a dedicated post person vs lotto as it could mean waiting for longer if you only need to pick up parcel.
I recently went to get stamps for sending out Christmas cards and was charged $3.50 for sending to the USA and $3.20 to Taiwan. I bought 20 stamps at $3.50 and 8 at $3.20. I didn’t realize the price difference until today when I went to a different post office and was told it’s only $3 to send anywhere in the world! I’m really frustrated that I was overcharged. this shouldn’t even happened.
excellent, they open 8 am sharp everyday. Plenty of parking space and the owners are lovely people.
A lot of the complaints here seem underserved. The post office is fine for what it is, very convenient to have it open Saturdays. The people running it aren't my friends, so I don't expect or want to exchange small talk. Get in, get out. I took off one star because of the Tattersalls component. The residents of this suburb treat this post office like a pokies venue and I'm often left waiting 10-20 minutes for some old person to scan 59 tattslotto tickets, then buy a further 27 tickets, all with different options, then spend 5 minutes deciding which 12 scratch-its they want to purchase, etc etc. It's very frustrating when I'm lining up behind you and you decide to behave like a kid in a candy store that can't decide what they want. Maybe go to a dedicated Tattersalls outlet if you know you've got a gambling problem so I can just send my parcel which usually takes under a minute or 2. I blame the post office as well for not being better staffed in this regard, as I've lined up behind 3 tattslotto junkies waiting 30 minutes for my turn, when the other employee casually goes through boxes or sits out the back chatting on the phone. Can get very frustrating
If you are closed on a Saturday then change it online so i don't have to drive all that way to see that it's closed!
