Today I walked into pick up a parcel and was confused because the tracking had 3 items and they only tried to give me one. Whist trying to sort it a balding rude middle aged guy walked up with a smarmy attitude he started talking down to me and trying to condescend me. I explained I had ptsd and asked him to stop to which he just continued. Then as we left he was laughing out loud….at a disabled person at that I personally was absolutely disgusted and shocked please be aware of this HUGE trigger before planning to go to the post office choose Warradale post office everytime as they are actually are genuine and caring.
If you’re after customer service don’t bother going here. Too busy to serve and rather talk to each other and complain that the parcel you need to pick up isn’t there and make you feel like it’s your fault, after 5 mins of searching, oh we found it, wasnt in the correct spot. Not just once mind you this has happened 3 times. Added to that I was home all day and the postie said I wasn’t.
I have had nothing but good experiences here. The staff are all very fast, very competent and always willing to help out. I would go out of my way to go here for all my postal needs, the staff have been that great
Out of the 10 or so times I’ve collected a parcel here, 9 times the customer service has been sour, lacklustre and as if they are doing a favour for you. I’ve still been polite and civil despite, I understand a post office can be busy and have let it go each time, until today. I go to collect a parcel after I finish work from the lockers, a worker is there loading parcels into it, looks over her shoulder at me, no smile or thank you or sorry and continues to load the parcels into the locker, I stand there while she loads a few and then I say “excuse me, can I please get a parcel out?” Doesn’t even turn around to look at me and says “hang on, I’ve only got a few to go” - her trolley is full, so I’m made to stand there while she loads 7-10 parcels and I’m only after 1… make it make sense. After she finishes, she doesn’t even have the audacity to say sorry about that or thank you for your patience, she says “there you go” over her shoulder as she walks off. If you don’t like your jobs, get new ones because I’m over being treated like dirt for collecting my parcels AT A POST OFFICE ISNT THAT WHAT THEYRE FOR!?
I’m currently trying to track down a parcel that’s not been delivered, and which I believe is sitting in this post office somewhere. But their computer system says it has been delivered so they won’t go and look for it. It is immensely frustrating and upsetting. If you can, I’d avoid using this post office, although whether there are better ones I can’t say.
