Great food and good portion size. Four dishes ordered and all very good. Steak and salmon superb, pasta and duck both very good. Among the best food available in South Canterbury. Cheeky attentive service with a smile. Food came out really quick. Worth stopping in Temuka for.
Absolutely amazing.. would come back in a heartbeat. Staff beautiful.. I highly recommend the chai cocktail.. I ordered the steak and asked for it to be rare.. it was 100% the best and most accurate cooked steak I have ever had. The apple and saltana crumble was to die for. I look forward to coming back and would love to share this experience with as many people I know ..
Lovely Lamb roast meal. love the way the parsnip is on the top, nice & crunchy. The service is always wonderful & welcoming with a smile. A warm atmosphere there. Temuka is very fortunate to have this restaurant. I can't praise it enough.
WOW. What more can I say. Amazing, friendly, attentive service from all staff we encountered. Food was outstanding. I had the pork loin with green beans and blue cheese. YUM. Himself had the fish of the day with coconut cream. Equally YUM. Generous meals and very well presented. Great selection of wines and cocktails. Yummy desserts. Thanks to you all for an awesome night out. We will be back.
We had lunch today at Austin's. The lager on tap was excellent but unfortunately the chicken schnitzel was very disappointing. Thin pieces of chicken were encased in something resembling breadcrumbs, but it was thick and rubbery. The sauce didn't add a pleasant flavor.
