Great food and good portion size. Four dishes ordered and all very good. Steak and salmon superb, pasta and duck both very good. Among the best food available in South Canterbury. Cheeky attentive service with a smile. Food came out really quick. Worth stopping in Temuka for.
We enjoyed a quiet birthday dinner at Austin 92 this evening. The staff were welcoming and friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. I had the fried chicken pesto mac n cheese which was lovely and cheesy. Hubby had fish and chips with slaw. Beautifully presented and perfectly cooked. Cheesecake and baked pear for dessert, again really delicious. Good size portions too and very well priced. We will happily return.
Absolutely amazing.. would come back in a heartbeat. Staff beautiful.. I highly recommend the chai cocktail.. I ordered the steak and asked for it to be rare.. it was 100% the best and most accurate cooked steak I have ever had. The apple and saltana crumble was to die for. I look forward to coming back and would love to share this experience with as many people I know ..
The service and atmosphere are fantastic! However, I would appreciate it if the roast beef were served hotter, as it arrives warm at our table. And the meat itself was quite tough and lacks flavor, all the taste comes from the sauce.
