Great store with a huge variety of camping/hiking equipment.
Good prices but can be hard to get someone to handle your purchase, especially if the main guy isn't around he's actually really good with customer service. I've had to give up after waiting and walk out a couple of times now which is frustrating. For smaller camping items, you can usually get them next door at BCF for a little bit more, not that I feel any better about that.
Extremely poor customer service! A catalogued item was available, but not to me as the remaining one was put aside for a team member 6 hours before closing! I was told they would order one in, but I explained it was my sons birthday, but still the female sales person said " It's for my mum" .... I have 30 years of retail, and not once have I denied a paying customer an item!! If I want one, and it hasn't sold at EOD trade then I can purchase it... otherwise, I order one for myself. I got the item, FROM ANOTHER AUSSIE DISPOSAL STORE an hour away!! The manager there was disgusted in the experience I had in my home town shop. Not only did I get the item, he gladly POSTED the item to my son in Melbourne! Sorry Bairnsdale A.D, you've lost our family business, and we have shopped a lot in there!!.... Going to Sale from now on!

The staff here are incredibly helpful and full of great information and advice. Their stock covers most of your basic needs for any form of outdoor adventure.
Full of great stuff. Just found an awesome piece of kit for all campers to carry, a FixnZip! It can fix any broken zip slider in seconds!
Great range and great product knowledge. Really appreciated everything that they did for me.
