Love this organic place! Has everything you need fresh veggies, pantry stuff! Beautiful raw cakes and nice things for lunch too. Close to tram stop and Johnson St
Great organic health shop in Fitzroy. Great organic vegetables and fruits and cheeses and meat selection, with all other products you need including supplements
Wide range of fresh organic food and costmetics. Prices are reasonable.
The fresh produce is constantly bad and shouldn't be marked down but removed from sale. I've ended up with rotting and mouldy fruit and veg from this Maggie's numerous times, I shouldn't have to be vigilant at all, let alone when paying premium prices. I understand their are inconsistencies and a shorter shelf life with organic produce, hence the premium, but this does not explain or excuse the sale of decaying vegetables. No problems with staff apart from this issue.
Hopeless. Once again none of the staples you would expect. Once again no one knows why or when the products will be in. This has happened more than 6 times in the last year. What’s going on? I bought in two empty milk bottles, drop them at the counter with staff. Head towards milk fridge, no milk. Back to counter, I say, “no milk”. I get, “I suppose not”
My favourite organic store in Melb. Very friendly market style vibes with small cafe service inside. Soups are delicious. The largest kombucha collection i've seen.
So I've heard through the GrapeVine that this establishment and all stores are bank. Suppliers are out of pocket for unpaid invoices and the Venue in Malvern has closed up with the business owner holding back from notifying the landlord of the property in the hope of catching some distance with financial owing. A number of Employees have also been left with no sign or existence of the Superannuation that has been drawn each pay cycle in their accounts from over five years back dated and the whole operation is a joke. Interesting to see what the situation is and if the other Venue's soon follow in the Malvern locations movement.
Nice little organic shop, kind of like a small version of Terra Madre bout 1/4 of the size had my favourites, pukka tea and smoked tofu so will definitely be visiting again.
Such terrible customer service. I’ve shopped here for the past two years and sadly am used to the unfriendly, couldn’t-care-less staff attitude. However, after an especially hostile interaction today, I will not be shopping here again. In a world where supporting your local small business often means paying a little bit more than buying online, it amazes me that the staff here can get away with being so rude to their customers and still be in business.
Had hot soup for lunch, served with awesome sourdough bread. Great supply of fresh, healthy food. One of my favourite places to shop in.
