Unfortunately we had high hopes but they were dashed soon after arriving... Not much interest in selling the home town because when we saw and got excited about a map the lady didn't ask what we were after or offer any ideas. We soon discovered that the bed had a large piece of metal sticking out dangerously from the end of the bed after my husband caught his shoe on it lucky not his leg. When my husband let the lady know she just kind of brushed him off and said she couldn't fix it until the next day.. She never offered any alternative.. The room had ants but she never told us on arrival but only when we questioned about it did she give us a can of fly spray and she never told us the pool was open. They had put a fan in the room but it was so hot and stuffy it was nearly unbearable.... Shame really. Would think twice before staying there again Rooms: Needed updating Sadly
Management tried to overcharge me. No clean towels and also, be careful of the cleaner as I'd avoid leaving personal items while vacant from your room. Not a happy customer Rooms: 1/5
“Let’s do the time warp again” It’s like stepping into the 1960s with how dated *everything* is here. Also, the internet hotspot didn’t work. Literally the best thing is that it’s across the road from the supermarket.Rooms: 2/5
Charged twice for my room. Very difficult to get refund from Sundowner. Have called x3 so far...awaiting refund also followed up w Expedia. No recollection of my call each time I have called back. Edited to say refund received after a week. Thank you.Rooms: 2/5
The room was nice and well appointed but dated. One of the lower cupboard doors fell off one of the hinges when first opened. The spa tub was nice but the hot water supply was limited as it drew from a tank as opposed to being an on demand system. The room was clean and was also cleaned and prepped each day which was nice. There is also no A/C and the afternoon sun hits the windows and heats up the rooms quite a bit. When we left for the day the staff left the blinds open when they cleaned the room so it was warm upon our return. Some initial issues getting a WiFi connection but the issue was resolved with the help of the front desk staff.

Room was a good size and clean but very dated and cold. Would not accept ASURE 10% discount as I didn’t book online. There are a lot of motels to choose from at good prices so worth looking around Location is good though with big supermarket across the road and restaurant nearby
Motel is close to Countdown- right across the road. The room however was very dated with a damp smell. The sheer blinds had mould all along the bottoms. When removing the pillowcases on departure, 3 crawling bugs dropped out. Room tired and in need of refurbishment. Tiny TV and limited wifi.Rooms: 1/5
Really impressed with our unit and value for money. Very spacious, super clean, lovely facilities and quality bathroom products. Swimming pool was very nice and also perfectly clean. Our own little private garden and courtyard was an added bonus. Perfect for us and our two young kids. Supermarket and restaurant and cafe right across the road. Will definitely stay here again and would recommend to others.
Spotlessly clean, comfortable, no-frills unit with all amenities expected of this standard of motel. Ranch slider access to well kept garden a bonus. Pool is really just a cooler. Friendly welcome and attentive advice from owner. Conveniently opposite supermarket and cafe serving quality breakfast etc. I would be happy to stay here again.
