Coffee was silky and smooth with quirky latte art. The food was your simple done very well and the jam doughnut hot cakes were fluffy and delicious - a must share. Worth mentioning that the service was tip top. Seefood eggsational.
A 2nd visit to Assembly Ground for late breakfast, and a 2nd helping of the Jam Donut Hotcakes. These really are as decadent as they look and sound, and we’ve yet to finish them.nBrioche French Toast was also decadent and spot on, but if you’re after something “healthier” there are nourish bowls and superfood salads, as well as the usual avocado and egg combinations.nIf you’re not sure what to get, the Breaky Board looked spectacular.nCoffee was excellent, and service fast, friendly and efficient.nOne quibble, a few of the GF options actually weren’t suitable for Celiacs fried in the same oil, though they made that clear up front and the GF bread was near impossible to eat and cut.
Arrived just after 8am for breakfast; perfect timing as it was almost empty. When we were leaving about 8.50am it was full of people.nWe ordered an apricot Danish pastry which was not bad, açai bowl which had generous toppings and scrambled eggs on toast that came with 2 slices of toast.nCoffee was good no photos. I’d prefer the standard size glasses for water as opposed to these ones that are one third of the size and look like tea light candle holders.nService is great. Prompt & quick. Empty water bottle is also quickly replaced without having to ask. Toilets are located inside through to the back.nEdit: Not sure when it was introduced, but they now have a 10% surcharge on weekends.
So good coffee and impressive Latte Art. Breakfast was delicious. Only the bread can be better. It’s said on the menue „sourdough bread“ but it’s just like a ready sliced bread you can buy in a supermarket I‘m german, maybe higher standards for bread.nService was awesome, absolutely friendly and very attentive.
