I agree that ASKO doesn't know anything about quality or customer service. I bought a dishwasher which supposed to open the door after cycles finishes but it didn’t open the door enough to let the steam out. Initially customer service which supposedly should know the reason told me that it's normal operation which was BS as the advertising video was showing different operation. Eventually they accepted to send a technician to check. The technician didn’t know what to do and was telling me that it's a new product and we don't know the reason for the problem. After a few try and error and changing parts which means they had to unscrew the built-in unit form kitchen cabinet and screwing it back in they still couldn’t fix it. It wasted a lot of my time as every time I had to call them many times and wait for response. Also, this process damaged my kitchen cabinet. Eventually they agreed to change the unit which solved the problem. This process took about 6 months. Do you think this was end of story? Of course not. About 6 months later, o noticed some rust starting to appear on the inside of the door panel and rails. I contacted CS and again they didn’t reply and have to follow up many times. Eventually they said it’s not under warranty and we can’t help you with anything. So, their dishwasher started to rust after about 6 months of use! And they don’t care. Avoid this company at all costs.nPS. To CS if you are going to send a message saying you are providing the best service and happy to help. I don’t believe a word you say.
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!nnWe’ve had three faulty ASKO washing machines delivered over a two week period. The first and third were both damaged, and the second wouldn’t turn on at all. After a two week saga of broken and damaged washing machines, negotiating delivery dates and times, we decided were happy to keep the third dented washing machine, as the damage was not visible and did not appear to impact the workings of the machine. To reflect the inconvenience caused, I asked for a discount which ASKO would not offer. The best they would do was refund the delivery and installation fee and offer an extended warranty.nnBy this stage I had spent hours on the phone waiting on hold average wait time was 30 mins, liaising with ASKO staff and delivery drivers. And I did not feel the extended warranty reflected the inconvenience caused, or the time and cost of using a laundromat for our family of four, while trying to figure all this out.nnAt this point I was nearly tempted to go for the fourth machine just to see what happened!nnHowever, during my lengthy negotiations with ASKO, I was offered a full refund and in the end decided I’d prefer to part ways and not risk a fourth faulty machine.nnMy final ASKO washing machine was collected on Friday 17th Oct. It is now the 23rd Oct and I have still not had any correspondence from Asko regarding a refund. I have called them three times and am still waiting for some kind of correspondence.nnThroughout this process I asked repeatedly to speak to a manager to escalate my concerns, but I was advised managers don’t speak to customers.nnI would caution anybody considering an ASKO product to be aware that there are significant issues with all aspects of their business from customer service, supply chain, quality assurance, customer feedback and refund processes. I will say that their website looks nice, but don’t let that fool you.nnI will be interested to see if ASKO respond to my review.nnASKO, if you are reading this please just give me my money back!nnPs. For context, the reason why we chose ASKO washing machine was because of the good reviews by CHOICE. I have left a review on the CHOISE website and I have emailed them to let them know about my customer experience.
It is a disaster and shame, but not a Scandinavian quality. I lived 13 years in Denmark and can assure you there are 0 Scandinavian in the quality and customer support at Asko.nWe bought an Asko oven and it didn't work properly from the beginning! It switches on or shows mistakes and runs ventilations whenever it wants. We contacted customer service twice and they has done absolutely nothing - they had never came back to us after I shared a photo and video of a mistake!nPlease, choose other brands and don't buy Asko - absolutely waste of money!
The worst experience with appliances I’ve ever had.nnWas sold on the 10kg washing machine and matching dryer as the size of the drums were enormous. From there I’ve had a leaking washing machine which was replaced and now the replacement is leaking too. To think it can’t get and worse, my dryer’s door has been popping open mid cycle so in other words, better off going to the laundry mat instead of spending nearly $5k on absolute crap.nnDO NOT BUY!
Bought 2 Asko ovens, warming drawer and a stove top 6 months ago March at Good Guys - was told stock will arrive after 3 months - after 3 months still no stock - then delivery got delayed with another 2 months. Well I am still waiting- customer service is appalling- no communication- very disappointing - the person on the other side of the phone couldn’t give a monkeys that I have been waiting so long and can’t understand why I am worked up! I have always owned Miele - thought I make a change - stupid mistake!
