It was fantastic to have a really enjoyable meal on our sixth day of travelling interstate. The meals we ordered couldn't be faulted, and arrived in a timely manner. The service was excellent with friendly staff, who took the time to ensure we were all content with our experience. Highly recommended.Service: 5/5
Stayed a couple of time due to working on the weekends, close by. We start very early so it would be easy to to be self absorbed and criticize the noise but, it’s a Saturday night at a pub. Overall our experience was very good. All the staff we very friendly and helpful. Check in was simple. The food is good pub food for a fair price. The rooms were clean. We would definitely stay again, just not on a Saturday night when we have to work. Oh, the only real negative is the hot water takes forever to heat up and at 4am, it’s not the best start to the day.
Booked this place for 18 ppl for lunch and we all enjoyed our meals. We tried most of the menu and it was better than expected. Service was amazing, friendly and attentive staffs. Would be even better if they have a kids play area.
Food was okay. Steak was a touch on the smaller side. Service was a bit slow but staff were very friendly. It wasn't too crowded on the evening we went so not sure why the service was a little bit slower than usual. There was only one vegetarian option. I would highly recommend at least one or two more. The price is good and the rooms as practical - nice that parking is free for guests! The shared showers had some issues, as some could not be locked or rubbish was left inside for more than a day. All in all it was a good choice for us to stay two days there!
Great little local pub. The food is great, the only criticism I have is lack of physical menu to look at. My parents are older folks that can't keep up with the technology of ordering via apps, and they are distrustful of putting their credit card details on the internet. It's great that staff have an ipad to show the menu on a screen larger than a phone, but the oldies feel rushed to make a decision.
Beer cold, wine nice, rump steak cooked within an inch of its life like the chef had a vendetta against cows and looked at the request for 'medium' and just laughed before stoking up the flame thrower to maximum. Chips were good though.
Would highly recommend to anyone. Had a rough and long day at work and was happily served by Renae and Fatou. They were very friendly and kind and knew how to make customers feel welcomed.Rooms: 5/5
When ordering a blue steak I did NOT expect it to be still cold and the medium came out raw and cold.. the jacket potato would had knocked some one out had I thrown it at them it was that hard. After sending my steak back for a bit of heat out came my meal only this time the rest of it was cold.. the chicken was questionable and overall i would not be dining or recommending this place anytime soon.
Burger was still raw in middle if I could give no stars I would won’t be back to eat here again also another family member ordered mushroom gravy but got pepper gravy so yeah definitely won’t be back Rooms: 1/5
