Best Mall in the World. Great Turkish rolls, wonderful Woolies, excellent coffee, good conveniences but no Vodafone it's moved across the road
Another good kebab store. Except ordered Chicken burger. Very tasty burger and chips packet all for $16.
This Mall has been around forever but unlike others, it lacks quality stores. Apart from Kmart there is hardly anything when it comes to clothing especially. men’s clothing. But it does have the 3-big supermarkets. A reasonable food court and newly renovated public toilets which won’t remain clean for very long and it has way too many hairdressers, which is weird.
Yet again the escalator at the front of the Mall is not working. Today I saw an old lady trying to climb the escalator with her shopping trolley. When I raised this with centre management the person took no responsibility saying they had only been running the Mall for 8 months. So they had 8 months to fix the poor maintenance of the escalators and have done nothing. I suggested he put a staff member at the bottom of the escalator to guide people to the lifts but he refused. Not sure what management are doing with the rents they collect from shop keepers but it is not going into maintenance or customer service.
Once again, Ashfield Mall has proven they either underspend on maintenance or don't care.nOne day, it will be owned by a company that can work out how to provide air conditioning to a shopping centre reliably.nnI hope each of the tenants are disputing lease payments for lack of basic services pushing customers away.
