We’re going back to Hobart and we found this place. This place got a relaxing interior that makes brunch really enjoyable. While waiting for our food — we had a quick browse of their gallery. The food was good and tasty.
Stopped for brunch on our way through to Hobart. Other half ordered the Pea & Ham soup his favourite which didn't disappoint. Served piping hot with chunks of ham hock, crispy bacon croutons & soldiers all of which he thoroughly enjoyed. My flourless orange cake, served with a dollop of whipped cream, was moist & light and most enjoyable with coffee of my choice, a flat white. Totally recommend this Cafe.
Driving to east coast of Tasmania when we found this place. Delicious meals with a good size. Prices weren't that bad as well. Me and my partner we're struggling to finish it.
Really unexpected hipsteresque Cafe in Swansea. The food was nice and the coffee was great. The special home made beans was amazing and should be added to the common menu instead of being a special! We loved the homewares and decor on sale, if we were Tassie locals we would have bought some!
Stopped for a late breakfast in Swansea, thought we'd give Artifakt a try, glad we did! Lovely food, generous portions, friendly staff and some interesting art, jewellery and other things!Food: 5/5
Food and coffee was great. Service was prompt but despite all the good already mentioned there was a persistent sense of "irritation". I kept feeling as though staff were inconvenienced by my presence and would've much preferred that I was not there in the first place. Barring that however, I reiterate that the quality of food and coffee was fantastic and you will not be dissatisfied with your order! The food was great, service was quick, the seating was comfy, and they have free and fast wifi. One of the ladies up front even noticed that I filled my water bottle in the sink and walked over to show me where the filtered water faucet was. Went above and beyond!

Perfect place for a wonderful breakfast time here. The staff is very friendly, not stressed and not stressing. The coffee is one of the best I had in Tasmania and the Eggs and Bacon was fresh and tasty! Moreover, the art gallery features terrific artworks. Wooden ones, bronzes, paintings... Amazing, though completely out of budget.
Not sure why people rave about this place. I ordered a pesto chicken and sun-dried tomato panini. It came out with hardly any pesto, bland chicken and one sun-dried tomato on each piece of bread. We waited 15 minutes for two coffees which were too hot and basically undrinkable. We didn’t want to say anything as the lady behind the counter was rude and yelling at customers who were asking simple questions.
