Great playground with trampolines and a zipline. Lots of shade and space. There are also walking paths and sports facilities right nearby. A perfect spot for a day out!

Artarmon Reserve is a strong local gem. It doesn’t pretend to be a spectacular destination park, but for what it sets out to be — a well-rounded community open space — it does very well. If you’re after a convenient, pleasant outdoor spot near public transport, with playgrounds, shade, amenities, and natural character, this is a solid choice. Just prepare for sun exposure in some parts, and if you're bringing young kids or mobility aids, pick the more accessible paths and playground areas.

Great open space to take the dogs. Walking paths, open field, wildlife galore. Brush turkeys, blue tongued lizards, eastern water skinks and an array of native birds.
