This art gallery is one of the best galleries I've ever been to, it's full of quirky contemporary modern art. I don't usually like modern art but this place is fantastic. The exterior looks like a Roman piece of architecture but it's the complete opposite inside.nThe space inside is nice and clean, extremely spacious and filled with wonderful pieces.nThe staff are lovely and friendly, they are eager to help or assist you.nThis art gallery is massive, you can spend hours here and still feel like you haven't seen everything.nIf you're in the local area and you're a lover of art, you simply have to come here, you will not regret it
This is a must see museum for anyone visiting Sydney! I'd recommend setting aside half a day or more to view this museum's massive collection of classic and contemporary art. Admission is free with the exception of special exhibitions. They have a pretty good cafe here as well on the second floor. The Margritte special exhibition is definitely worth the ticket price - a really stunning collection of his work throughout his entire career is here. Well curated and thoughtfully displayed.
We are fortunate to have such a beautiful as well as handsome art gallery with impressive displays and different exhibitions. The blend of old and new buildings housing artworks of famous artists of different periods from the past to the works of today's budding artists are thoughtfully displayed. We are grateful to the volunteers who introduced the different pieces of artworks to us, which enabled us to appreciate them more with a deeper understanding. It was an enjoyable group visit.nHowever, we find the entrance fee of $35 is too high, and hope that the government can subsidise a part of it for children and seniors. Thank you.
The Art gallery of New south Wales features very intricate exhibitions regarding many different forms and eras of art. The renaissance, Aboriginal art, Post modern art and so much more. I highly recommend any art enthusiast to visit this wonderful museum. Each exhibit is designed specifically for the viewers eyes for the best experience possible.
