Creative food, positive staff, good interior need a just some detail for managing the shop I recommend Vietnamese coffee and the omelette. Corn fritter was okay but bit doughy. Still challenging presentation idea and fresh ingredients . It was deserve to drive from 20min away.
This cafe is an absolute gem! Very easy to access from Albion Railway Station, has a gorgeous little outdoor seating area. Staff are lovely, and the food is unique and delicious. I can't wait to come back and try more!
It's nice ambience, friendly staffs. Five of us ordered different dishes , but most of us feel disppointed with the food we ordered. It took so long to get the food served. My friend ordered corn fritter but got omellete served. The beaf steak was hard It's mince beef actually, pate wasn't nice either, not pleasant at all. Two of us ordered this and couldn't finish it even just a small portion. Egg benedict was okay. Love their fresh juice and beautiful food presentation on the plate.
If you want delicious food in the most GORGEOUS surroundings, you need to go to Arlette's Kitchen. It is such a gorgeous venue with fairy lights, warm wood and copious amount of art. It also has plentiful street parking. The food is French-Vietnamese, so it's not your usual menu. You can also try some amazing Vietnamese coffee options if you're brunching. This is a must try if you're near Albion, you won't regret it :
A local restaurant I didn't know about till recently... But I wish I knew sooner . Absolutely loved the pate... And the pork belly was a dream... But the dessert sealed the seal. Added bonus, the owner is incredible and so lovely.
Great food with friendly and efficient service. I especially like the ambience and decor. I went for brunch 1:30pm on Saturday and was able to sit a table for 4 away from other patrons
We went for dinner & shared the chicken attack, goi Xoai salad, barramundi soup & steam rice. Chicken attack flavours were really nice but you definitely need some rice to complement the dish - the size of the rice was very small & beware they add nuts on top of the rice as garnish ... Salad was fresh but small & the prawns in it tasted quite bland. The soup was also ok. Serving sizes quite small for the prices. Cosy atmosphere, super dim lights, background music maybe a little too loud.
First time eating here. The best Granola I’ve ever had. You have to try it. Friendly staff, even advised us before sitting down that they were short staffed and there may be a 15 min delay in service. I didn’t even notice a delay. 5 stars all the way.
Came across Arlette’s kitchen on instagram and made my way over for a late breakfast. It was half hour before closing time and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious with a great menu. Will definitely go back
Currently my favourite place to go for breakfast in Brisbane! The staff are always welcoming and warm, the venue is comfortable and the food AMAZING. I never order scrambled eggs when eating out I find scrambled to be at the bottom of the egg cooking totem pole however the scrambled eggs with kim-chi at Arlette’s is my go to. I don’t know what they’re doing to those eggs, how they’re cooking them, what they’re adding..but they are the tastiest scrambled eggs around! Also a fan of the Vietnamese omelette, the fresh croissants and the cinnamon toast however I think this may no longer be available. A number of my dining buddies have also thoroughly enjoyed the XXL breakfast. We’re very lucky to have such a gem in our neighbourhood and it deserves to be packed out every day! Note: I swapped the croissant for sourdough with my eggs
