Staff are lovely, vegetarian pasta was awful tasted like a tube of tomato purée or a can of bland tomatoes no seasoning or flavour. Fries, wings and garlic bread are really good
Worst pizza experience we’ve ever had. The longest wait, the worst pizza and garlic bread. None of the toppings were cooked. Terrible customer service. Without question we will never return.
They seem to get quite booked up so glad I called ahead in the morning. Tables filled quickly once it reached 6pm. Good ambience, service ok- they were understaffed so it was just the one waitress juggling everything for a bit. Half the seats were outdoors for alfresco dining but we were told that there wasn’t gas in the heaters and nothing they could do about it so it was pretty cold for a winter night by the sea also on a side note we were being bitten by aplenty mozzies there. Unfortunately it’s a small restaurant and they were booked out so we remained in our seat but recommend getting that gas sorted asap. Bruschetta was delicious and pizzas looked small but they pack on the fillings so you’ll be surprisingly full after 3-4 slices. We enjoyed the popeye pizza and chilli chorizo. If you’re a fan of seafood and love capers and anchovies with a splash of salmon/prawn/cuttlefish chunks here and there it’s definitely going to be delicious. Scallops on top were a plus that added to the pizza.
I really love this restaurant but it was only open for takeaway when we went there over the Christmas break. The pizza is fantastic. Wood-fired, made fresh and oh so tasty. Highly recommend the lamb pizza. It took around 30 minutes we got there early around 4.30pm for dinner but they texted us when it was ready so we didn't have to wait around. Will come back on my next visit to Rainbow Beach.
Great food. Really liked their wood fired pizza. Hope under the new owners they also start serving rather than only take away.
Fantastic authentic pizza, pasta was incredible too! Everything tasted amazing! Shame these guys are short staffed, they had our dinner ready in 15mins which is fantastic for a small team! Best of luck guys!! Tip: maybe make it more inviting, I think several potential customers walked off because they thought you were closed.
Food was very tasty but serving size was a small and it's expensive. Also I was very explicit with my takeaway order over the phone wanting a tomato and garlic based vego sauce on my pasta and it came without tomato. Still delicious though.Food: 3/5
Always fantastic food, have had multiple meals here and never disappoints!! Best pizzas and when I visit I have requests from others from Brisbane to bring them back a nuttulla calzone!! Awesome
I'm not exactly sure what's happend to this place but my God we will never ever return!! One of the locals advised us to steer clear of this place as the former owners Son had taken over and has absolutely destroyed it. We thought we would still give it a go as we were here a year or so ago and had a great experience. The place was meant to open at 4pm but was still closed at 4.20pm. When it finally opened there was a sign put up saying no pastas tonight. The attitude on the young lad was just shocking and I told him we would spend our money elsewhere. Avoid this place people it's an absolute joke. If you want a good pizza head to sails at the marina in Tin can bay where the previous owners are now. I am a Chef and understand the struggles restaurants are having with staff but the young lads attitude was just ridiculous. I've never known a buisness to be so unconatcable, it was like they do not want people to eat there. They have a for sale sign on the window which obviously explains alot. Just close the doors or give it back to your parents!! Update!!! I can assure you those words did not come out of my mouth. Not only is your business terrible but you are also a liar.
Authentic Italian food and full of flavour! First time at Arcobaleno’s, and both the seafood linguine & lamb wood fired pizza are now among the best Italian dishes I’ve ever had. The tomato paste on the pizza seemed infused with basil, giving every bite a subtle and fragrant flavour, while the lamb was slow-cooked and topped with oregano. In the pizza, we asked for the capsicum to be replaced with mushrooms and the staff were very accommodating. The seafood linguine was divine, and it is a dish that is hard to cook well! The calamari would melt in your mouth after a bite not the usual chewy texture that makes it hard to eat in pastas, and they generously included heaps of salmon pieces and mussels. We are in the area for one more night and tempted to come back to try the rest of the menu. 5 stars from me
