Absolutely amazing 5 star nursing home!! I Can't fault it in any way...nAwesome professional management people Especially Sara K and Donna and all staff in other areas as well are just wonderful in every aspect.nBeautiful caring nurses and carers..nMy mother has dementia and went there a few months ago.nShe has made many lovely friends and she feels very safe and happy there..nThe rooms are like a 5 star hotel and very big and well worth every cent you pay to have your loved one there.nMy mother has beautiful healthly meals and has put on weight since she's been there..nMum has many daily activities to do there all the time..nArcare inform us regularly on every aspect of mums daily care... The coffee shop and beautiful outdoor areas are great when the family visits..nMums medical care is of a very high standard and my mother wants for nothing now..nI can't express how highly I recommend Arcare at eight mile Plains..nThankyou to all that work there on behalf of our family.
Arcare should be renamed “WE CARE” Let me explain;nMy wife has dementia and after caring for her during the last 3 ½ years it became time for her to go into full time care as I could no longer give her the care that she needed. I started looking for a decent care facility and believe you me there are some real shockers out there that I do not wish to name for fear of retributionnBut then I came across Arcare I visited 3 Arcare Aged Care facilities and could not believe the high standard of each one.nSara K was ever so kind, caring, and helpful with the transition for both my wife coming in and I losing my soul matenHer room is like a 5 star hotel that opens into a beautiful garden courtyard with air conditioning, TV, Foxtel, and Wi-Fi in her room.nAll the staff that I have interacted with from the managers Rajwinder and Samantha, Sarah K, Donna, all the loving, caring, kind nurses and carers to the cleaners and maintenance staff have all been extremely kind always with a hello and a smile on their face.nMy wife has many daily activities, healthy meals, and a very high standard of medical care, and wants for nothingnArcare regularly inform me inform me on all aspects of my wife’s care.nNot long after my wife first moved in, she said “ I love it here everyone is lovely and the food is so good if I had to live anywhere, I would chose here”nThank you, all the staff who work here, knowing how well you all care for my soulmate has made it a lot easier for me to sleep at nightnI would rate Arcare Eight Mile Plains a 15 out of 10
Absolutely nowhere near the 5 star service they claim.n- Serving cold food to the residents who wait for the second food service!n- Unhealthy food for elderly that should be given nourishing food.n- Food is beyond tasteless!n- Staff complain about moving residents around the facility for leisure activities despite it being part of their role.n- Staff tell residents not to bother speaking up to make a complaint as it ‘won’t do them any good’!n- Staff that shouldn’t be in a carers role that treat residents like they are numbers, and management saying they can’t do anything about it.nnDON’T send your loved ones here! Appalling!
My mum was 93 when she passed away on 4th Nov. Last 3 years she was in care in this facility. Awesome care and attention with not a single complaint from anyone in our family during this time. Highly recommend.
Great aged care facility. Friendly staff. Very clean.
