Just went to their sale on Saturday Oct 12th. It was underwhelming. We spent 3 hours in a queue to get in, while waiting, the sunshine was welcome but the sunburn was not. I was only looking for runners/walking shoes for a trip overseas , the choice was not that great. I assumed that we would get better prices than the regular Outlet price. I only saved $30 off each of the two pairs compared to the online sale price from Saloman.nThe prices were no where near as good as the sales at the old factory outlet.nIt apparent that there were many Chinese customers buying items, especially in bulk eg, 5-10 jackets each etc to sell online or to take back to China where they can make huge profits from the Arc'teryx clothing, especially the jackets.nI won't go back after that experience. It was not worth it.
Staff from the store was super informative, kind and helpful. Your care to customers are clearly showing and demonstrate values.nnLove to shop in the store again soon.
Visited 12/8 @ 2:20pmnOutlet store, priced as expected for ladies shorts, limited range as expected.nLow stars for customer service - was acknowledged… and then walked past… I literally was maintaining eye contact … trying to ask for help…nasked lady where shorts would be - shown to 2 racks - “everything’s out”. I think the stumped look on my face made her elaborate as to the difference between 2 racks.. she then pointed to fitting area - and said to try on over there.nnDon’t have so many staff on the floor if you’re not going to treat every customer as a potential sale - be curious not judgmental of why we entered the store…
Bought a snow jacket last year but zip broken just after wearing several times. When I got back to the store, the staff issues the full refund to me straightforward. Really nice experience for the after sell service
This outlet store is a mecca for Chinese overseas purchasing agents.nnIt sees a heavy footfall of Chinese customers, and I have no doubt that many of them aim to resell these products in China for a substantial profit margin. For instance, certain types of Arcteryx shoes are only 120 AUD here, yet they fetch about 2400 CNY roughly over 400 AUD when sold in China. They can make several times the original price in profit. Currently, the types here have significantly declined, and I even feel that it’s not worth making a special trip anymore; most of the time, you will be disappointed.
