There are 3 platforms to view the Rapids from different angles. A short walk to these from the car park. There are 3 time slots that the water is released everyday. Unfortunately I was there at 11am but the water would be released at 12pm. I have to move on.

What cool sight to see flood gates open an the water rush out, and flood the basin under the bridge
Amazing to view the spill gates of the dam being opened. Summer release is 10am, 12pm, 2pm and 4pm. Winter release is 10am, 12pm, 2pm.
Good information, easy short walk, very entertaining. Kids loved it. Highly recommended if you get a chance to stop to see the dam gates open. View from mid mid high level as good as each other.
It's a spectacular view of the ice blue water gushing down the almost-empty stream. We did not got to the top view, mid point view itself was awsome.
Beautiful man/nature interaction. Check times for tourist water release, generally 10am, 12pm and 2pm.
