Staff are hopeless in the urgent care area and not enough Doctors especially for evenings absolutely terrible. It’s a disgrace. I have major severe pain and they sent me home with nothing. They were so rude especially the older nurses. The female nurses are definitely don’t recommend a place go to Stawell or Ballarat. They are friendliest. Ararat NOT FRIENDLY
My son had a day procedure here and the staff were amazing and the hospital is the cleanest hospital I've been in yet.
I can’t speak highly enough about his hospital! The nurses are absolutely incredible and went above and beyond to make me comfortable for my surgery. The quality of care I had was amazing. You can tell this hospital has great culture for the workers! Loved it and would go back in a heartbeat if needing any procedures in the future.
I have nothing but praise for the Ararat Hospital. From the moment I had my first appointment, through to my operation and my release home the whole experience was amazing.nnScott Mason my surgeon was amazing, the support my anaesthetist Neil gave me was above and beyond. My nurses were all fantastic and were always checking on me to make sure you were comfortable. The food staff were lovely and the meals were so tasty. The physio staff were so helpful and motivated me to push myself in recovery. My Aboriginal Liaison Officer Kevin helped me massively, just having someone to yarn to was a big help.nnOverall Ararat Hospital was amazing.
Cannot recommend and commend enough. Doctor Amal and Nurse Tracy are truly a blessing to the community of Ararat and their profession. They both showed impeccable care and attention that has fallen astray in many other medical services across Victoria. Big city hospitals could learn a thing or two from East Grampians Health Service and their staff.Thank you!
