Araminta's Tea Rooms
"Located just a short drive north from the CBD of Melbourne, Seymour is a growing country township. With many attributes such as regular train transport and the Hume Hwy just to its outskirts, Seymour is also home to the Goulburn River. Aramintas Tea Rooms offers a range of Teas and Coffee, Breakfasts and light lunch menu's, as well as home cooked fresh scones, cakes and slices, and are all made on site. The Building is also of significant history, being built in the late 1800's. It has been conserved maintaining its heritage and uniqueness, with a touch of modern and old style furniture to accomodate families. A real place to meet and relax in comfort, or a place to come and read a book over a coffee and cake."

Lovely, affordable home cooked breakfasts. Friendly staff and a quiet space. We come here for a more intimate, chilled out relaxed breakfast. They also have incredible homemade jams and sauces.
Amazing value and portion size with a outdoor area your pets can play in too. Lovely freindly staff mother and daughter team. Well worth a 5 minute detour off the fwy and heaps better food that the Roadhouse on fwy.
Araminta's Tea Rooms is a beautiful place to stop during a road trip. Everyone working there delivers great customer service with a smile on their face. We had the Devonshire Tea with cappacinos and everything was perfect. We will definitely return, and recommend many others to do the same. Thank you Araminta's Tea Rooms.Food: 5/5
We dropped in today late in the lunch bracket and the staff were clearly under the pump. Everyone was friendly and working through the orders. When you are number seven in the order queue in an already packed cafe you know you have a wait. The pavement seating was pleasantly shady on a warm day and we had a cool beer and a great smoothy while we waited. After a while chef came out to apologise about our delay and offer totally unnecessary freebies. The calamari & salad was lovely and the chicken schnitz burger was the best I've had for years. For a business that has just reopened after being flooded out it was wonderful. Highly recommend.
We received our Iced Coffee's an hour before the meal...which was only burgers. Not many people in there, so don't know what the extra long hold up was. Burgers were mediocre, chicken over cooked in old oil, chips half cold, beef was very overcooked on one side, chicken salt was tasteless on chips. Salad wise the lettuce needed to be selected a lot better, very simple to do. We have been here a few times before, but, sorry not again. Price wise... $80 for burgers and drinks. Really??!
Delicious Devonshire Tea with amazing house made scones with rhubarb jam - so soft you don’t need a knife to cut them. Lovely hot breakfast and very friendly service from all the ladies. Homely setting on a pretty street. Would definitely recommend.
Just what we were looking for for a quick pit stop lunch break! Staff were lovely, sammies were fresh and delish, and the cookies…..omg gotta be one of the best choc chips cookies I’ve EVER had. Not a fancy place but a great place never the less!
I attend this Cafe regularly. The store sits alone away from the main shopping precinct with views through large windows across Tallarook Street towards Kings Park. Tallarook Street is a main thoroughfare so cars are constantly driving past. There is ample street parking. The windows provide lots of natural lighting. Inside is relaxed country feel offering a range of seating in an open setting to suit all visitors and numbers; seats, stools, and couches. The venue is always clean. Gentle music is often playing in the background. The staff greet with a warm friendly smile. The venue is able to cater for passing visitors and small functions. This is a licensed venue with selection of alcoholic beverages. The owners work in the Cafe and take pride in the business. There is a good selection of food with daily specials. Three of my favourites are the steak sandwich, calamari, or banana and honey sandwiches. I also love the desert fridge. All are made on site and delicious. Chocolate and banana milkshakes or long blacks never disappoint. I’m a happy customer.
Kay and Helga were very friendly and welcoming. Delicious scones and good quality leaf tea - met the English man's high expectations.
We enjoyed our visit to Aramintas for lunch. The staff were friendly and professional. Parking was not a problem. The quality of the food was good. Coffee was excellent. Prices were competitive. The venue seemed popular with travellers who did not want to hassle of parking in the main street.
