While me and my wife were doing our rounds exploring Surfers Paradise, we came across this Halal Middle Eastern restaurant. We decided to try it out. We ordered a platter dish forget what it's called, a Turkish apple tea and a bottled mineral for $50. Well the serving is way more than enough for us. The food were delicious and I love the taste of the apple tea. Take a look at what our platter dish looked like in one of the pictures uploaded. Staffs were nice and friendly. Ever giving their smiles when serving. Overall we love our dining experience here.
Arabesque serves delicious food and drinks with lovely service! I will definitely be coming back :
You have good food ? Okay but clearly it's not worth waiting more than an hour for after ordering. This is to share my experience at this restaurant. I ordered 6 steaks, and after 20 minutes I was told that they are out of sauce and can not serve it to me. I reordered another meal for which I waited more than an hour for. When I approached them, I was told to wait two minutes which turned into 20. AND THEN I GOT THE WRONG ORDER!! This experience explains why a family walked out yelling about their lead times. Completely horrible. Never eating here again. Management feel like they own the street and are up on their high horse to even respond to you.
I took my mother yesterday for mothers day and I must say we all enjoyed our experience there, a perfect night. I did read the reviews before I went and noticed a few bad reviews and they seem to be reviews from people just wanting to ruin someone's business and not legit. The service was amazing, very quick and friendly, the food was very tasty, big serves and extremely quick. We could not fault anything at all. My parents and their friends were very happy, impressed and are already planning on coming back. The only down fall is you can not take a bottle of wine or no alcohol which is understandable. Thank you for bringing me back to my times of living in Dubai with this amazing tasty foods.
Should have read the other reviews. No customer service, food was awful. Ordered Mix platter $50 only the mince was edible, lamb was hard like a rock. Ordered rice which never arrived and chargrilled chicken which was raw and full of blood. Where do they get their chefs. My 13 year old cooks better.
I've eaten here atleast 7 times so far. The chicken is seasoned perfectly and goes great with the dips. I've had the falafel a few times and the flavor is great. The hummus is creamy and rich in flavor. Overall I am very happy with the prices, service, and food.
Looked and sounded amazing. The chicken wrap is advertised as charcoal grilled chicken. I Requested confirmation of this from the host and she assured yes the chicken was cooked on charcoal. So we went in and ordered based on this advice. To our disappointment the chicken came out and we could tell it was fried in a pan and not charcoal grilled as told. Overall it was nice however we were craving a charcoal meal and were given a genuine bumsteer by the host. Very poor ethics. I wont be returning here.
I have been in arabesque café several times before. I like the atmosphere, the friendly staffs and the food and prices are very acceptable. There wasn't a single time that I come to gold coast and not visit such café. I even invited my family and friends. The reason for my negative review is the disgraceful way the owner replied to my friend's online review about not serving Tab water, which is a fact, accusing him of being trouble maker and rude to staff. I'm the one who invited my friend, made the order and bought the water bottles no question asked since I know that the staff has nothing to do with this. We ate our meals, thanked every one and went on our way. Lying and Accusing us of being rude is completely unacceptable and disrespectful. I've met the owner few years ago when he first opened and he was a very decent guy, I really believe that he is not the one writing this unprofessional replies. A piece of advise for the future, you opened a business, agree to disagree with some customers but don't disrespect any one.
Awesome food! The lamb beef and chicken platter was cooked perfect and all of it tasted amazing! The restaurant was very busy but we were looked after and received our meal very quickly. Will definitely be back, thank you!
Delicious cuisine!! The staff were very friendly, the food was well presented and we received our meals in a timely manner. If you're looking for fantastic Arabic menus on the Gold Coast, I would suggest giving this place a go!
