The lifeguards here are rude and have serious attitude problem. They need to be trained on how to communicate better to the parents. We hosted a birthday party there and we have few parents supervising the 10 kids of 9-10 yo. One of the lifeguards was so rude, he told my son and his friends that they will be 'kicked' out of the pool if no parents are supervising... when he had not find out that we parents were just there? My birthday boy was so annoyed with such conversation! Then came another staff, a man in blue shirt, not sure what is his role/position...he told us the same thing about 'kicking' kids out of pool if the parents to child ratio not 1 to 4, and we have to 'get out' of the party room when times up. We actually have enough parents with us.nnWhat an uneducated bunch of lifeguards and staffs who do not know how to communicate. You use words like 'get out' and 'kick people out'?!?!! When you talked, you sounded like commanding the parents, come on, we are the paying customers! You can do better! How about say 'leave the room' or 'leave the pool'? We paid for the party room, we knew what time we need to leave. You do not need to be so rude!nTerrible attitude!!!nnIt was a busy day but there were so many lifeguards around. There were also many adults in the pools. I don't understand what were the lifeguards' major concern for 9-10 yo kids playing in the water slide and shallow pool. We parents were around, we did not need to closely monitor and tail the kids. We are talking about 9-10 yo boys! How can they possibly drown in a shallow pool? Besides aren't lifeguards there to help if it happens? Instead of doing their job, what the lifeguards did was instructing parents in a poor manner!
The center is good overall; however, the biggest downside for me is the swimming pool facility. The family shower setup seems poorly designed, as it doesn’t provide adequate privacy—especially for young children. I believe it's important to teach kids about body privacy from an early age, and this setup doesn't support that.nnAdditionally, there are no family toilets, which creates uncomfortable situations—such as expecting a father to take his daughter into the men’s change rooms, where many adult men are undressed.nnBecause of these issues, I’m considering cancelling my child’s class and enrolling them somewhere that prioritizes privacy and respects family needs.
SO OVERCROWDED!nI took the membership for both the gym and swimming pool but just after a couple of weeks had to cancel the gym membership as the gym was quite out-dated and squashy.nSwimming pool is even worse! On weekend mornings most of the pool is reserved for the swimming school and gets so over-crowded. So, if you visit this place on weekend mornings you will mostly be standing in the pool, rather than doing any swimming.nFinding a parking slot around the area on weekends would be a nightmare. What a waste of time!
Overall a very unpleasant experience as casual to the gym.nnFirst time there, I was aggressively scolded by the gym staff for bringing my gym bag with me inside the gym. While I understand it is their policy to...nnSecond time I went there, I paid for a locker, as I now knew about the policy. After paying for the access and locker, I was aggressively told by the front desk personal that I must surrender my car keys if I am to be allowed on the premises. Politely refusing, I was greeted by the manager which on a similar aggressive tone told me that it is their policy to...nnUnfortunately, while I accept their right to have strict policies, the whole experience was unpleasant.
Terrible café customer service. I went there and ordered 2 cheeseburgers. Each one was $19.90. I gave them a $40 and they told me there was a %5 weekend surcharge, so I gave them another $5 dollar note. They said it wasn’t acceptable because it had the tiniest prick of a hole in it. I was literally $1 short, absolutely outrageous. I had to buy one measly burger for me and my friend to share. They charged $20.90 for the one hamburger, and I gave them $20.20. They said we couldn’t pay that because we were 70 cents short of the full price, so I had to pay seventy extra cents. Then later I went to order a hotdog and 2 hash browns. The total was $8.40 so I gave them a $10 note. They told me to give them 40 cents. I said that I had given them $10 and they have to give me the change, then they said that I should just give them the 40 cents so that they could just give me a $2 coin so their job would be easier.nI mean, you’re a cashier, don’t you know how to do simple math?nThis goes out to all of the employers; have you heard of anything but money?!
