Made an appointment online for battery replacement and was informed of same say pickup. Turned up to the appointment time and was told that I would have to leave the phone overnight as they were busy. I requested if I could come back in the morning as I needed my phone for work purposes.nReturned the next day and was informed that I would be able to pick up my phone within the hour.nWaited an hour, greeted by staff and was told that: the battery was not able to be replaced as the screws were rusty and unable to be removed. Staff was very focused on the fact that I should buy a new phone instead. I repeatedly reiterated that if I had the intention to purchase a new phone, I wouldn’t have had to have the battery replaced.nThe diagnosis shown nil defects detected apart from battery that will need to be replaced.nStaff continued to upsell and encouraged to purchase new phone. I found this quite upsetting, the problem that i presented with was not formally addressed or solved but the only solution I was offered to repeatedly was the purchase on a new phone.nUnderstanding there are KPIs need to be achieved, but the service was very poor as it made me feel like there is not really a consumer-focused but rather a “must be hitting a target “ kinda service.nnDisappointing though.

When I contacted Apple Support over the phone and even provided photos, they dismissed it as “normal wear and tear” and told me it wouldn’t be covered under warranty. I was quite disappointed because I take great care of my Apple products, and this didn’t seem like a reasonable explanation.nnHowever, when I took the same issue to Apple Carindale, they immediately recognized that the band splitting like that was a manufacturing defect, not normal wear and tear. Without hesitation, they replaced it under warranty, no fuss, no unnecessary back-and-forth—just honest and helpful service. It was such a relief to be heard and valued as a customer.nnThe staff at Apple Carindale went above and beyond to ensure I left satisfied. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. It’s experiences like this that remind me why I continue to trust Apple and why having an in-person store with great employees makes such a difference.nnIf you’re ever in need of support for your Apple products, I highly recommend visiting Apple Store Carindale. They truly care about their customers and will go the extra mile to make sure you receive the service you deserve. Five stars all the way!
Incredible service. We had a lady serve us within a few minutes of being in the store. She helped us with going through different options of the iPhone16 and helped us chose the best suited. Great customer service.
Customer service was terrible. Husband waited for 20 minutes and no one attempted to service him. I came in with our 3 children and found someone but who apparently couldn’t help with laptops. They went to find someone, she spoke to 2 other staff who were not with any customers and they apparently couldn’t help. 5 minutes later the staff member hadn’t returned. We walked out of the shop without purchasing.
