This review is for the workforce Australia department. Absolutely ridiculous, they never answer their phones or call you back. They just keep re scheduling appointments without contacting you to see if it is a suitable day or time, then when you don’t go because it doesn’t suit, they suspend your payment. Then trying to get that back on is a nightmare because like I said before… they don’t answer the phone.
I have had nothing but issues with setting up appointments, calling in, or having any level of communication with the staff, there are never enough staff onsite to have you seen before an hours wait when you do FINALLY get an appointment, they have no idea what you require from them because you never see the same person in a row, my account has been left in a state in which I am not getting the service I require from my agency and I've had enough of having to call 20x a day for three days in a row leaving messages just to be ignored. No wonder every second person who walks through the door while you're waiting to be seen is ranting and raving and demanding to speak whoever's in charge. If you get set up with APM, request a transfer immediately, as much as the staff are nice, the service you receive is completely unprofessional. I have requested specific assistance and have yet to receive it after over a month of being with them. There isn't even a front counter or reception staff to note that you arrived, just another staff member that's been tasked with writing down who's there in between taking appointments. Here's a protip for running a business. ANSWER THE PHONES AND PERFORM THE REQUIRED TASKS. Honestly cannot wait to watch this one go under as well.
Disgraceful. If someone answers their business phone number, buy yourself a lottery ticket because that's how likely you are to get an answer. Speaks volumes about this organizations customer service. Very disappointing.
They used my honesty to make my situation worse and complicated I felt vulnerable and help less. The office manager Lauren Kerr and psychologist Allie from back2work used mind tactics and that led me to be anxious and lose a lot of sleep. My advice is make sure you know your obligations and you’re rights before dealing with APM Cairns City.
They offer Nothing But Lip Service. A total Waste of time and Gov resources. Not even worth 1 Star
Very terrible attitude.
This place is ridiculous, I have left over 50 messages over a 3day period. They don't answer the phone or return your call and I finally spoke with someone after ringing continuously for 3days. The lady informed me the computer screen she needs to access my enquiry on is not working. I will have to call back on Friday. When I asked why on Friday she said because she has Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday off and she's back on Friday it's only Monday and there's only 1 other lady in office and she's booked out completely apparently, this supposedly God fearing woman my case worker is telling me lies. How do you preach the word and tell lies and manipulate the system and then sleep peacefully at night. ? What is happening with this company.. Why is there only 2 people in 1 office? The work load is clearly way too much for these 2 ladies to handle. The Gordonvale office has to be the worst APM in Cairns and surrounds. It's absolutely the worst! Not to mention she will harmlessly invite you to their church services on Sunday. I'm born a Catholic not a Mormon or Jehovah and I'm here for employment assistance not guidance on my spirituality and faith. I appreciate the gesture but the pressure to attend church on Sunday is too much for me. Then look at me like I'm less because I'm not attending church on Sunday's and not employed also.. the feeling of judgement is too much. Attending this APM in Gordonvale made me feel so anxious.. and I felt like I was being judged because I refused the offer to attend the church services and morning tea she constantly invited me to.. The appointment was usually scheduled for 20mins every appointment I attended went for 2hours plus. Constantly back tracking information from previous appointments and not to mention the bible bashing, wait I did mention that already lol. Good luck to you if you have to deal with this company. I say the entire company because they can't answer a call or call back.
