Currently on a trip to do gibb river road.nI ran into some trouble with a leaky passenger side front strut on my Mazda BT50 between coral bay and south lefroy across the corrugations. We kept moving with plans to replace in Karratha. No local stores could supply and we are on tight time restraints as we are travelling with others and didn’t want to slow anyone down.nDuring this time and knowing that to keep my gvm upgrade valid I was required to use like for like components, I got in touch with Ape Suspension, a guy named Luke picked up.nI told Luke of my situation and time restraints and he suggested a couple of stores he had dealt with in Broome that may have the required struts. Unfortunately they didn’t.nI feel like I was talking to a mate with Luke as I called him at least 10 times to come up with different solutions and options.nLuke seemed unfazed by the persistent phone calls when I had cell signal and was happy to assist were ever he could, he called courier companies for expedited service and even shopped around to get me a better price for transport saving me $$$. Within a couple of hours he had a tracking number for me.nnFinally I had the parts I needed on the way.nnToday a few thousand kms up the road in Derby I received the suspension. Was able to get a local shop in town to remove top hat off old set as I needed the springs and got everything reinstalled ready to continue our adventure tomorrow. Most amazingly still on schedule!!!nnWords can’t express how tremendously grateful I am for your help Luke and the rest of the Ape suspension team. It’s not everyday you come across a company willing to do what you guys were able to do for me and my family and I wish you nothing but success in your futures.
