The vanilla slice was absolutely foul and disgusting, I couldn't stomach it and one bite was enough. I tried a second bite, but ended up throwing it away. It was ... wet, slimy? It was dripping with moisture. I have vanilla slices regularly but this was nothing like what I've ever had before at other places.nnEverything else about my visit was without issue. The breakfast and lunch options are good. The seating area and high supply of power outlets is much appreciated. The toilets are clean and presentable. The staff are friendly and always happy to help. Being able to come in to browse options 24/7 is greatly appreciated. I bought multiple other things and visited for all 3 meal types dinner, breakfast, lunch and had no other issues.nnJust don't buy their vanilla slices. I sincerely regret ever doing so.

I dont know if I was expressly unlucky i got a souvlaki salad pita roll and omg I had diarrhea for days obviously food poisoning! Shocking...my partner had a ham salad roll he was ok thsts why i gave it 2 stars

Great store ,very neat , clean and well set out.nToilets were clean and nicely presented .  Happy , friendly staff and cheaper priced fuel.nFoods a little on the costly side $12 for a sausage roll and spring roll , but both were well cooked and fresh .nIt appears that good training goes into Apco staff , every Apco store I've been to is above standard for a petrol station .nI'll definitely stop back into the Ballarat Apco .

I know it’s a busy place, like flat out today, I get it, but customers are customers, the staff here are not friendly, and this is harsh to say, because this place use to be the best, new owners, new staff, bad attitude. No greeting, I had to repeat my order for food, it was just an attitude of not wanting to be there, with so many people looking for work, maybe you could employ someone that likes people and it customer focused.
