Great food, great service and great value! My family and I went there for the first time last night, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. It was a Wednesday so we ordered burgers and they were fantastic! I thought that at that price, we'll get some small Big Mac-sized burger, but this was the real thing - we all left the place fully satisfied! Thanks Apache Spur - we'll definitely be coming back again and again :-
I always enjoyed coming to this place for a meal as it gave me the feel/atmosphere of home. Food was great. I invited a number of friends to try it. Things changed when I went in and the previous management had left. From the service to the food, I could tell something had changed. I asked to sit in a booth and I was told"you'll get what we have" half the restaurant was empty, booths probably covered in cobwebs. Everything has gone south and I will be shocked if the business is still around in a few months. Previous manager and his wife were very friendly and welcoming, service was top notch, they hired friendly staff that did the job well. The passion to have this place running as good as it did or better is just not there. Sad story. Sorry but the new manager is terrible! as noted in previous reviews too.
Just outstanding. We had 14 for lunch and the service was amazing and so fast. Food was so good. I personally had the barramundi and it was the best Barra I have had for a very long time. All portion sizes are XL, you absolutely will not leave here hungry. Would highly recommend and we will be coming back 5 stars from our group
Wow.... so disappointed. Went here on recommendation because we have 4 young kids and it is a family friendly restaurant. Firstly, the staff were awesome, very friendly and helpful and willingly did candles on our homemade birthday cake for our 4 year old, second, yes having the playground was great but that's where the good times end. The food was awful... dried frozen burger patties on dry buns with 1 measly slice of cheese, even my 5 year old was looking concerned when they put it in front of her... no sauce, no butter, no flavour. Husbands chicken burger looked even worse. I ordered nachos which was all chili and no flavour which the hubby ate more of than me. We should have stuck to our Hogs Breath Cafe booking We will not be coming back.
Went for lunch with kids. The playground meant the kids were entertained so we ended up staying nearly 2 hrs. The food was really good. Rump steak and 2 sides for $26 is a good deal. Chose mash potato and onion rings and they were very nice. The garlic on the side was bloody good. Kids meal with huge choice of main, chips or veggies and then a drink and also dessert for $11 is good value. Plenty of food, so the kids just kept coming back for bits of their food after a little play. Kids eat free Mon n Tue. I tried some of the kids beef burger and that was bloody good. “Too good for children” haha. Service was very good, staff were very kind and helpful, but not in your face. Kept adults and kids happy so we’ll be back for sure. Highly recommended for young kids. There is also great arcade games for young and older kids just near the restaurant.
The vibe of the restaurant is wonderful! Yummy food and the portions are massive. We got quick and friendly service with a smile. We didn't have to wait long for our meals either. And they stock all our favourite South African drinks! Will definitely recommend giving this restaurant a try! We will be back!
I have been here and loved the food. As a chef and a picky eater, it’s a huge thing for me to say! Had been trying to make a booking for Father’s Day, however, they never pick up the phone! I even PM’ed my concerns, the message has been seen, but no reply! An outlet’s food may be to die for, but if the customer service is a let down, it is a big loss in terms of getting and keeping customers. I hope customer service is improved soon, as it is a shame to lose customers due to lack of customer service standards when your food is great.
