Jan 22, currently only doing takeaway, we ordered dinner and it was ready within 15 mins for pick up. I got the sushi and sashimi set A, a chicken katsu curry, and a kids teriyaki sushi. The sushi and sashimi set was good. Good ratio of fish to rice and the sashimi was cut nice and thick. The curry was tasty but not as rich as I usually have at other places. The katsu was nice and crunchy though. Overall we enjoyed the meal. Would come back

Aomori has become one of my husband and I’s absolute favourite local place to go for dinner. The food is always fresh and so delicious! The staff are super friendly and I cannot recommend this place highly enough! My husband and I are absolutely gutted that we are moving to QLD but whenever we visit Sydney, Aomori will always be on the top of our list to visit! This place has become an addiction. The sashimi is always fresh and tasty. The chicken teriyaki is delicious. Their special sushi rolls are inventive and really tasty and the atmosphere is such a cozy, authentic, Japanese restaurant.
Excellent sushi restaurant, produce has always been very fresh and consistent. Additionally the staff are very beautiful people, kind and patient.

This is a great sushi place, the sushi is always so fresh and the portion sizes are great. The serving size is worth the tiny extra charge - I’d also recommend the purple rice. The girls are always lovely and smiley.
