I have not needed to go into a branch for over 10 years. The one time I need to physically go in, I’m told there is at least a 30 minute wait for a simple card based issue that a teller needs to resolve. Don’t open a branch if you can’t staff or run it at an acceptable capacity.
32 Years with ANZ and The Manager refused to wave a $10 Bank Cheque fee! Wow, loyalty doesn't count anymore these days. Thanks Jason :
"Closing" at 3:50pm, and wanted to book an appointment for me about an account change that an ANZ email told me to come in for. Came in from out of the city for this. Polite at least.

Always a long wait and never seen more than one counter open. The staff are unware of their customers in line or of their needs and waiting time. A lot needs to improve for 'standard' service let alone good customer service.
When all businesses have returned to normal working hours ANZ remains in a poor service level. Why does the ANZ insist on a 9.30 am- 1pm work period. It's insane. The CBA ends its day at 3.30 pm. Snap out of it ANZ and start offering service and access again within a realistic time frame.
Always long wait times. The tellers are always lovely, but stressed. It seems like there may be a high turnover of staff as there are always new people. The bank really should be open until 3 or 4pm not 1pm.
The staff at the teller line are not friendly at all, especially the lady at the teller the teller on the left- I think a business teller . Everytime I visit this branch, i feel a bit depressed after I leave the branch. I was at the ANZ Broadway the other day and the service from this branch was absolutely brilliant, I was served by I think her name is Katrina, she greeted me when I entered the branch and provided a 10/10 service . The area manager of ANZ Mascot branch needs to work with them to improve their overall service. I do not recommend ANZ Mascot branch to any of my family/friends, but will definitely recommend the ANZ Broadway branch. Thanks
The lady at the counter was completed stressed out when her computer was frozen. Have to wait a while to get transactions completed. The impression for them is not very professional as why you make your staffs so stressful? It makes your customer stressful too.
