Went to create a bank account, I had only passport ID for proof, with the same ID I got Medicare card, driving license, and visa extension, nobody had any problem, but these people said they have problem with my sir name, they need time to very and give call and it’s been one month still doing, not sure why they gave that reason, staff with whom I had discussion was not welcoming and rude…. Not happy with their behavior
I want to give negative stars ! Can I? Always a long wait time with inexperienced customer service staff. Also tried calling customer service several times and obviously be put on hold more than an hour each time that hung up Luckily got through once but the consultant said they couldn't pull up my information due to something wrong with their system . Appalling experience always and my issue is still not resolved. Btw, could you open up for business on Saturdays as other banks are doing ? Don't mention staff shortages anymore as all covid restrictions are lifted.
Went to deposit coins in the coin machine. Waited for more than 30 minutes, and after I deposited my bag of coins the machine jammed and neither did it deposit the coins nor returned them. I was asked to fill in a form for this and was advised that the funds will be credited to my account in the next two days. This is the 3rd day and still nothing! There are no available online appointments for the next three weeks!!!! The phones are not being answered!! Most disappointed and dis satisfied…… Not heard from them either, not even a courtsey call!!! They need additional staff and better management…
waiting too long! Somewhat expected though, Chatswood branch is not recommended. One of teller was very nice and tried to help me. Introduced me to talk to reception area, two staff were talking. one of staff was very unprofessional. she pointed finger to seat and treated me like low class people. There was no respect.
Inexperienced staff. Negative stars. The staff at this branch don't like to provide reference numbers for your visit, instead they insist their verbal verification that they've done their job is enough. This costed me 5+HOURS of headache over the phone with ANZ customer service when I tried to open a credit card because their online ID verification was not working, so I was told to visit a branch to verify my ID, which the branch staff did not action properly. ANZ customer service over the phone is also horrendous. I was constantly being transferred to multiple different teams and was told conflicting information by each team I spoke to. It seemed like no one knows why my credit card was still pending. Everyone I spoke to was essentially 'delegating' this issue to someone else. It seems no one knows what they're doing or they just don't want to actually do their job.
Always loooooong queue, and unfriendly staff. They suggested me go to another branch twice and I was like??? why should I go to a branch far away for some basic services... Then one of the lady tellers was very impatient. I was the one who had been waiting for 40mins but you gave me an attitude? Switched to other banks after being an ANZ customer for 10+ years
I tried to activate a new card over the phone and was told I needed to go into a branch to show some ID. The staff at this branch were slow and unbelievably rude. After waiting in line for 20 minutes, I was told I needed to make an appointment, but there were no appointments available any time soon. Went to the Lane Cove branch instead. They were able to help me straight away. No line, and no appointment needed.
Every time I come here there’s 1 teller serving and the banks packed with a queue. Can ANZ not afford to pay staff. It’s a bank, it’s not even lunchtime yet and everyone just waiting as per usual. And bank hours are during peoples work hours, you think they would extend even by an hour either side to accommodate.
Always long queue. Only want to change new postal address for business account. got there 9.35 in the morning. Was told by staff. They are busy and full booked. Unable to do that today. When I tried to book an appointment for tomorrow still fully booked. went to Westpac on same day for same reason. Westpac done it within 3 mins. They need to get more staff. Will definitely cancely bank account with ANZ.
My elderly father has used this bank & branch for so many years & he was treated with such disrespect recently when getting money out. Shame on those staff members who can’t spend the time for the elderly. I’d suggest you leave customer service & don’t deal with people! He was so distraught.
