Red raw useless. The doors open at 0930 AM and there is a queue - which is not unusual, but to only have one teller working is crazy and shows a real lack of respect to their customers. I went in to the bank have a bank cheque drawn up .. this took the teller the best part of 10 minutes to do, whilst the queue slowly grew and the customers became more agitated to get their hands on their hard-earned handouts. This branch is absolutely useless. The setup of just one teller working at peak-times is madness. The staff couldn't care less about their customers.
I was on a tight timeframe and very anxious and Brayden has been very patient with me and got things done quickly and efficiently! Highly recommend and super grateful to Brayden
Travel from the country to try and update my details that I cannot do online only to be told I need an appointment. Useless
Poor service, I had appointment to see the home loan specialist I made the appointment 2 weeks before and I received SMS to confirm my booking but they made me wait for 15mins because they couldn’t find anyone who can serve me. I have inquiry regarding home loan through email after my visit, but the home loan specialist didn’t get back to me after I sent email. I will never come back to this branch.
An excellent experience on my part. I opened my account overseas and validated it when I came to Australia. Everything went smoothly. Thank you.
Absolutely horrific. When I got there it was around 3.30 yet it seemed pretty empty. I had to give up on waiting for assistance as no-one seemed willing to help out a customer. But here's the kicker, when I went to the teller to deposit in a large sum of money at once, the teller somehow manages to key in the wrong amount with hundreds of dollars left out. Now, I am at fault for not consulting her again but she, herself said the correct amount yet the receipt seemed to say otherwise. I was only able to get the amount returned after emailing but when consulting through e-messenger, was given a false number that did not give a direct line with the bank. Overall, this was just a bad experience. While I managed to get my other sum back, it was dreadful to think that a bank would be able to mishandle the money of its customers. I highly encourage you to avoid this branch.
Extremely poor service at this branch, queues are always too long, the staff are too busy to deal with customers requirements. “Make an appointment” is the answer to the simplest banking query.
Absolutely terrible service. Staff provided me with incorrect product information which led to my massive interest lost. Managed to claim the loss back from ANZ feedback team but the branch manager just had no sense of what quality service and active communication are. She seems to think it's all just about money and had no intention to apologise for their mistake. Stay away if you can.
if I could give 0 stars I would. Send them an email about my term deposit. No answer , 2nd mail same. After complaining to head office I go a BS excuse about not being allowed to answer emails. Why have an email address? I the mean time my term deposit matured got rolled over and now I am trying to fix the mess. Absolute terrible. I do not live in OZ otherwise I would be down there an take my businessmen elsewhere. Shocking. But it seems nobody read comments on Google because nothing improves .
The former branch on st george terrace used to be really good, everyone was friendly. This one has poor client attendant, rushing to respond me some really important questions about closing my account remotely. I just hope the information was correct.
