New AF fitout with a pretty nice selection of equipment for an AF! New equipment and clean premises. Three power racks, two platforms, lots of bench space, DBs to 60kg. Some equipment rarely seen in other AFs like belt squat. Lots of square metreage to spread out. Will be back!
Disappointing. It was one of the better ones be for the “refurbished.”nThere is less room to exercise, the decor is artificial, feels like a hospital; white and grey with tacky plastic plants and less available space to find a private spot to exercise.nnPreviously the functional room provided a welcoming and inclusive space for this who need it: sensory disabilities, new to exercise, shy etc.nnBig refurbish but equipment under serviced. 3 rowers but 1 in use, and the other 2 wobbly and sticky seats. Cross trainers feel uneven, one was out of order.nnUnfortunately unpleasant patrons as well, leaving sweaty equipment for someone else to clean up.nnAnd it still smells like paint which is questionably for respiratory health.
The people have spoken and they are right! My physio told me to “get thee to a gym” and I was surprised at this amazing resource in my backyard. The other reviews gave me a good idea of what to expect and it didn’t disappoint! Danielle and James were very welcoming when I signed up and I’ve been back a few times since. It is super spacious and very well equipped. Felicity is the newer super helpful and friendly Manager.nnI am loving the mat Pilates with Lilli, the friendly atmosphere and lots of women using the weights room, a change from my previous gym.nnUpdate: The Pilates is still amazing, Yoga too and my PT Nalani was extremely expert in designing a strength program to complement my track sprinting.nnUpdate again: Lili’s Pilates class last night was next level! Pushed us to just the right point. nThe benefits extend to so many sports! My uncle took it up in later life and swore by Pilates.nnDefinitely my happy place.nHighly recommend!nThank you, Team!
Not a bad little gym. Plenty of space and nice and clean. Just wish they had a few machines that they’re missing - tricep dip machine, side lateral machine, floor lunge machine for shrugs, seated hamstring curl… but otherwise not too bad.
surprised me how spacious most of this anytime fitness gym is, equipments in great condition and good variety.
