We had a beautiful stay at Annie's Barn! Greg, the host has been nothing but welcoming and friendly. Max and Millie their two dogs are very well behaved and they got along so well with our puppy Pocket, we couldn't be happier.nThe barn is cosy and comfortable, it had all the amenities we needed for a relaxing weekend. The area can get very cold during winter but lucky, we got to sit by fire already lit by Greg upon arrival.nnWe helped ourselves to fresh eggs in the morning from the chicken coop, and we got to feed the alpacas and rams which was quite fun.nnWe loved our stay and we will definitely be back.nnThank you for the hospitality Greg and Roxy.
Beautiful stay at Greg’s farm. The accommodation was gorgeous , spacious and everything we needed was there for our use. Little kitchen well stocked .. we loved opening up the big barn doors in the morning.nMagical area, so much to do with Fitzroy Falls across the road and divine little country towns dotted around close by.nGreg’s hospitality was really what made the difference though, he introduced my daughter to his animals, showed her how to feed the chooks, spontaneous tractor ride adventures, an enormous bonfire on the last night, handing us water pistols if the naughty rooster became a bit overzealous at our back door !nGreg very approachable and enjoyed hearing all about his idyllic country lifestyle. Great stay, so glad we found Rowan farm and Annie’s barn !
We recently had the pleasure of staying at Rowan Farm over the long Easter weekend.nWhat a perfect little family farm getaway! From collecting chicken eggs daily, riding on his tractor, feeding the Alpaca, playing with the pup’s, toasting marshmallows, and even an epic bonfire! Our little ones had the best time and are already asking when are we going back?nnGreg was the perfect host and made us feel right at home. He even makes award winning relish. What can’t this guy do?nnThe cottage had everything we seemed to need while there. Really comfy beds and plush towels. If you have time, pop to a little town close by to visit a pub for lunch, or Berry for the best kids playground we’ve EVER seen! Thank you farmer Greg for having us and our little fam. We are already telling everyone about you and hope to see you again for another farm stay.
We bid on a weekend at Annie's Barn at a charity auction, so we had no idea what to expect when we arrived. It's a beautiful big cosy space, ideal for a winter getaway, a short stroll from the spectacular Fitzroy Falls and a short drive to Kangaroo Valley. Probably just as nice in the summer with the barn doors open! The best thing might just be the water pressure and temperature in the shower - very welcome after a cold morning kayaking in KV. Thanks to Rowan Farm for donating a weekend experience to a worthy local cause!
Had a fantastic stay, had fun with chooks and Alpacas and saw plenty of galahs, a parrot and a cockatoo around too. Greg was so welcoming and easy to chat with and had thoughtfully set up the barn fireplace so perfectly we only needed to light a match to get the room toasty and warm. The bathroom has such a wonderful shower and the bed was really comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom were stocked with lovely snacks and products for hair and skin. Pet friendly and was able to supply a cot for our child. Chocolates, magazines, kids toys and a stack of DVD's. Extra plush blankets. Wouldn't fault a thing, were even welcomed to help ourselves to fresh eggs from the chooks for breakfast if we wanted. Highly recommend and I hope we can come back soon, we had a lovely time.
